So far the jack is great. It does the job, it works out great for my enclosed trailer. Just put it on a 2 weeks ago, so I will have to see how it holds up. Definitely better than a regular crank jack. I bought a electric jack cover to protect it from the elements. I definitely like the 7 pin power cord to give it power. Didn't take long to put it on the trailer either. Seems heavy duty, and it fit perfectly on my enclosed trailer.

I purchased this jack for my daughter who uses it 4 or more times per week on a horse trailer. Pulled with a Chevy Silverado, no issues with any blown fuses or interference with hooking up or towing. Just a nice to have until she had a health issue that restricted her lifting or cranking the old jack, no worries with this jack my granddaughter hasn't missed any riding lessons. Have had this for over a month and the install took 5 min. I should have given it 5 * since I didn't have to install son in law did and he is not so mechanically proficient.

Bought an open box. Expected the worse from Amazon warehouse. To my surprise, Install was quick and easy. Was worried about my jack plate because mine has threads and bolts to the trailer tongue. Everything lined up. Hardware in kit was same bolt thread and pitch. Even the bolts supplied were long enough to install the ny-lock nuts sent. I'm amazed everything just worked.!I did notice the wire insulation going into the motor cover has a slice, exposing the bare wire. Will have to address that. The switch is backwards in my opinion. (up is down / down is up) but up brings the trailer up & down brings the trailer down. Kind of counter intuitive. Up should bring the jack leg up / down should bring the jack leg down. Meh, whatever.Unit works. Little bit slower than I crank by hand, but I don't have to crank by hand. Trailer had about 1,000 lbs on tongue. Can't wait to try 4,000 lbs.!

It's not noisy, it's not slow and it's not fast. Certainly I would take much longer doing it manually. I have a really heavy steel 4 horse trailer that I thought would burn out the motor but after many months of constant use it's holding up great! I go in the back country on washboard roads. I've had it in snow hail and rain. Heat and cold. This jack way exceeded my expectations!

Went on easy, works great, just wish it worked faster. My trailer has to go up a long way to clear the ball, so it takes a little longer than I was hoping, but I suppose if it went up really fast, there would be other problems. Overall, good product.

I have a small toy hauler (15’ not including A-frame) towing with ’04 GMC Yukon. Installation was easy and straight forward. Initially, jack didn’t work. It turned out that there was no fuse (20 amp) in the fuse box such that a crucial connector on the 7-way vehicle receptacle wasn’t powered (see photo). Installed fuse and all was well. After a few uses it again didn’t work. No power. That 20 amp fuse was blown. Replaced it but then it lost power again. After checking the 2 connectors in the jack’s plug to the vehicle’s 7-way, I discovered they were loose. After removing the plug’s housing, neither of the 2 wires to the plug were connected. Previously when they were just loose they may have caused the fuse to blow. After re-connecting the wires to the plug’s 2 electrodes, all’s well again. So far so good.

I bought this electric trailer 5000lb jack a few months ago and I have used it a lot. I have a 2021 GMC pickup with the 7 pin power connector. It works and connects perfectly. My truck sits very high and I was worried this jack would not lift high enough. But it did. I like that it has a place on the front of the jack where I can store its harness 7 pin power cable and a cover for the connector to protect it from the elements. Nice touch. However, I did purchase a cover separately for the motor. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the motor is a little loud. You don’t want to use this at a rv park in the middle of the night. I hook up the night before my departure so I don’t disturb my fellow campers with the noise of this motor. It was simple to install. I hooked the trailer to my truck and removed the old bolts and put in the new jack. Very easy. My trailer is an old 1999 Damon 30 foot. Heavy and built like a tank and this jack lifts it no problem.Udate 2023: Problem!!I'm taking away some stars. I bought this in 2021 and it worked great until now. I even bought a cover to make sure to protect it from the elements. I’ve used it about 10 times. It’s always unplugged when not in use. Well it’s 2023 and I discovered it no longer works. Does not appear to have power. After closer inspection I know why. Check out the pictures. I wonder what could have caused this little fire hazard? The wires to the motor are burned. Of course the warranty is expired…you only get 1 year folks so keep that in mind before you purchase. I’m going to shop for a replacement that has a better warranty and won’t burn my trailer down. What am I connecting it to you ask? The trailer power connection that came with my 2021 GMC Denali pickup truck. Nothing crazy. I tested the connector on the truck and it is working as expected. I’m going to have to chalk this one up to poor quality on the jack. I hope the seller is reading this review because this is type of failure unacceptable.

Had to grind out the hole on my trailer a bit to fit the jack in, but now it works great. Kills the battery pretty fast so make sure it's charging between uses, but all in all its much better than the hand crank I had before.

So glad I purchased this jack, wirks great and have used ut a few times now and it makes things much faster specially when installing thw sway bars. Foot tucks away nicely so you don't have to worry about it catching on a high spot. It lifts my 35' travel trailer with ease.
