We've put 2 in for outside lights, love how flat and bright they are. Previously lights were on a dimmer made no change and dimmer works great. Doing kitchen later because current lights are going to be harder to remove but will add more once installed. So far very impressed.Did lights in kitchen today, all of them worked great. Outside lights are still working. Highly recommend 👌

This is the third house I had purchased these for. I love how flat they are, and there’s no indentation no place for dust or cobwebs or anything to get in. They are very flat to the ceiling. Absolutely perfect.I purchased the daylight 5K because I like a white blue light. I do not like my colors in the house to be distorted by warm yellow lights. These are perfect. They are dimmable. They are also good for new work or old work. The transformer is not attached. It’s on the tail so you can throw the transformer anywhere up in the ceiling and you don’t have to worry about where the joists are.Easy install, beautiful, sleek look, wonderful, white light, truly updates any space.

I initially purchased this brand/style of light during the pandemic when were redoing our basement. I didn't want to wait in line to get into the local hardware store and this seemed like a great alternative. When my husband was installing the lights, we said how they would be great in other parts of the house. As we started to come out of quarantine we just never got around to doing it. On Prime Day, the 12 pack went on deal, and we took advantage! They were easy to install, look great, and produce a beautiful clean white light in my kitchen and family room. We have an open soffit above part of our family room that was previously drafty in the winter time- not anymore! These tightly seal around the drywall and have reduced the airflow on a few of these cool fall days. I image we will notice an even bigger difference as it gets colder in the winter. From an installation perspective, the hole was already in the ceiling so I can't help out with the best hole saw size to use. The boxes are on the small size for lights in a series, but the last one doesn't have an issue with space. These come with wire nuts, but they aren't great we opted to use a better quality that we had in stock. These are missing knockout clamps, so be sure to add them to your cart too!We have recommended our family to purchase these for their homes as well when they have stopped by and commented on the "new" lights.

Purchased two packs of lights at different times. They are getting installed and work great. The room is way brighter thanks to these LED lights. After purchases I got call from Torchstar saying one of my orders had been cancelled and money refunded. Then, eventually got both parcels in the mail. Almost bought more lights because of confusion. This was only problem. Would buy from this company again though.

Effectively I bought this for ~$12 per light. Compared to what recessed lights used to cost, this is dirt dirt cheap. There are many things going for this:1. Price is right2. Looks very nice installed3. Sturdy high quality mechanical construction of the lights4. Very easy to install - no need for complex cans to screw into the joists like the old days. The light is the thickness of the drywall and clips onto the drywall. One just needs to make a round hole and connect.5. When a unit goes bad, the vendor replaces it free no questions asked, right away (within days). I had installed 22 units thus far and 2 had to be replaced. Once replaced, I believe it will last virtually forever. So, ~10% go bad shortly (6. Uses very little electricity7. Generates very little heat8. I bought warm white. Very nice color9. Nice and bright. Just the right brightness for me. However, I also installed some with a dimmer to control the mood.Note: Although I had 2 go bad on me (out of the 22 installed), these appear to be very reliable once the bad units have been identified and replaced. Bad units are doomed to failure right out of the box and the good units are built like tanks. Very sturdy overall mechanical construction. In both cases, the lights themselves were fine. What went bad was the power supplies that sit inside the individual junction boxes. I get a sense of high build quality. Once replace, the units should last virtually forever for all intents and purposes.Everybody who has seen the lights had lots of good things to say about them.

I am building a new home and have been trying several different lights to see which I like best. I am a contractor and have installed almost every style of light in the past 50 years. These are so simple to install that anyone should be able to do. Quality seems as good as any I have seen and better than most. Very clean looking and was packaged so well unlike other that seemed to think packaging doesn't matter. No matter how rough delivery is they should arrive in perfect condition. As far as the light; I purchased the 5000K and it has to be very close to that color. If your looking for good light coverage the beam angle is wider than almost every other brand. The coverage is so good I will be replacing all the lights in my woodworking shop and stain glass area with these. I already installed 2 in my daughters house in her stairs, 1 on the down angle and 1 on the bottom landing. These replaced higher wattage lights and are at least twice as bright with much better coverage. On a second note this house will be voice controlled and I will be using Lutron Caseta switches and set up a test with these. I had no problem with these working with the switches fully dimming just as the manufacture said. The only thing I noticed was a slight delay on starting and I'm not sure if it is the light or a lag in the switch itself. If I had to guess I think it is in the switch and not the light.Overall I think these will become a light I use on more jobs and already plan to purchase the Torchstar gimbal lights they make and do a review of these also.Lorenzo
