This is a very low quality rod hockey game. Assembly is confusing and easy to damage parts while trying to put together. Everything about it is done cheep.

When hockey game arrived the box ends had already been opened and the parts of the game were all loose inside the box. Did not look like assembly would be easy. Was not the quality we were looking for.

My kids will see the large versions of these hockey games at the rinks where they play hockey and always want to play them. When I saw the tabletop version of this, I was very excited that I could get them one to play at home. To echo what everyone else has said, this is challenging to put together. Lucky for me, my wife loves to build things and this was a challenge right up her alley. We aren’t experts on how these are supposed to move with more ease or improve upon, but my kids seem to enjoy it once we got past the less than stellar instructions and time to build. They can be a little aggressive so I’m hoping it can handle their rough and tumble play with this. But, I enjoy watching them compete against each other, so it was a win for me.

Wow, this game is so much fun!! It's like a great cross between air hockey and fooseball!! Be warned, it comes in a big box and is huge! You definitely need a big table space to set this on with plenty of room. I'm slightly concerned about longevity just because the kids get really excited playing this although it seems well made and has held up great over a few weeks of heavy use. So far so good and such a fun time!

For those who want to travel back in time into the 1990s, this table hockey game is the next best thing. Cheap parts, difficult to assemble. Greasy metal poles that you have to bend to fit right and then bend back to ensure smoothness. It takes about an hour to put together. The set is cheap but works well and really does feel like the table top hockey game I used to play as a kid in the 1990s. The current list price at $100CAD feels expensive for what this is but if you want that nostalgic feel, you'll get it here!

This is just like a table hockey game I had gotten my son years ago. I ordered it more for nostalgia sake. But the whole family loves it. We clear off the kitchen table and it's great for hours of fun. Nice to see everyone off electronics for a change. Even my grandsons (8, 11, and 19) enjoy playing this with the adults. It's made for 2 to 4 players, so everyone can get a turn in a reasonable amount of time. Love it!
