We've had the table for five years now. The on button has started to fall off but it lasted for a long time and we were happy with the table.

Really like the table, unfortunately the dome came with pitted marks or small bubbles and the cable clamps (item 11 in the instructions were missing).I will update to 5 stars as soon as those arrive in good condition.

Table is nice. Players are not durable. A player broke on our 3rd game playing. Wow, 15 minutes of fun. Very disappointed.Update: I originally rated a 2, but Carrom customer support is fantastic! They were very responsive and quick to get back to me and shipped me a replacement set up players. They even upgraded the replacement set to the numbered set. Dawn from Carrom was absolutely great! We have played a lot of epic games since with zero issues. Much happier now and the family is having a lot of fun.

Easy to assemble and arrived on time for my son's birthday! Awesome gift for sure! Battery powered so nothing to run a cord to plug in.

The dome is plastic and has some inconsistencies in the material that make it hard to have a clear vision to game play. It came with a scratch on the base of the dome that doesn't necessarily stand out but nonetheless. One of the goalies sticks to the right and is not a smooth side to side motion. The score clock has a wire that you must feed on the inside of the dome into a hole to a battery pack. That was not clear in the photos and I was a little disappointed when I saw that. Kids love it and other than those flaws it brings back the old memories from back in the day. I wouldn't want to deal with having to package and return such a large item so I have to accept the condition it came in.

Quick shipping, great table. Amazon was great to deal with as always. I love the quality of the game, and it was a breeze to assemble. I highly recommend this game.

ONE YEAR REVIEW - BUYER BEWARE!!!! After exactly 1 year of normal use, the product has not performed well at all. Within the first couple of weeks after purchasing in December 2014, the players were breaking off at the base. I contacted Carrom and they admitted a problem with the original player pieces supplied with the unit and sent me a entire new set stating that these were new design and should perform better. After 1 year, they appear to be holding up but be aware that the players shipped with the unit may break under normal play and you will need to get replacement one. Gears were also very stiff and I had to dissemble all off the player gear boxes and lubricate with silicone grease which greatly improved play. The unit only carries a 90-day warranty (useless) so be careful as Carrom will not stand by their product after that. They claim "Quality, American-made board and sports games" however this is far from the truth. After 1 year, the electronic scoring unit malfunctioned and stops keeping score, locks-up, or simply resets itself mid game. I checked all of the connections and replaced the batteries with no success. I contacted Carrom and there answer was to "buy a replacement unit for $70". That is totally unacceptable for a part that has no moving parts and breaks after 1 year! They claim it is made overseas so technically it is a game put together in America with cheap, disposable foreign parts. So if you don't mind spending $600-$700 for this game and then having to replace parts after 90 days then go for it. Otherwise spend your hard earned dollars on another better made product from a reputable company other than Carrom!

I would give this unit a 5 star but have had recurring issues with the gears on 2 players stripping, which reduces game play. To fix this I had to call the Carrom support line, they were wonderful to work with and overnight shipped me 5 new replacement gear boxes (I only needed 2), they also shipped me extra hockey pucks and replacement set of players just to be nice). Again they were quick, friendly, and helpful. The act of fixing the gears is simple in retrospect but the first time I swapped them out I was learning on the fly. In fact the first 2 times I did the swap it didn't fix the issue for long (had to swap them out again after a few hours of play). But now we have had a few weeks of hard play by drunk adults and small children and so far so good. When everything is working correctly the game play is very good and up to par with the arcade versions I have played.

The game is good quality, easy to assemble and fun for everyone tall enough to play! But be aware that the delivery is via freight. I had an awful experience with the freight delivery service for the Dallas, TX area.

Ordered the Carrom 415 for my 6 and 10 year olds (and me) for Christmas. We had friends coming over a few days before, so rather than try to assemble at 2am Eve, we gave it to them a few days early. These types of ‘assembly required’ items are notorious for missing parts, and this was missing four washers (one leg’s worth). Because I wasn’t in a 2am panic, I found the same size galvanized and was able to complete the build. I had no issue assembling myself but did need another pair of hands to lift it into the position. After the holidays I called Carrom customer service to replace the 4 washers. The woman was exceptionally helpful and when I mentioned that one of the goalies occasionally got stuck, she talked me through potential causes. It’s a simple adjustment that requires the players and ice surface to be removed. She couldn’t have been more sincerely apologetic and offered a set of painted players for my troubles. As for game play, this thing is an absolute blast. My kids had never played dome hockey and instantly took to it. And it’s one of the few games my wife and two kids and I can play at the same time and have competitive fun. We’ve had friends over and the game is a huge hit for kids and even more for adults. So far, this beats our air hockey table hands down. This table is a beast - heavy and solidly constructed. And for around $6-700, for THIS level of construction - it’s a bargain. Sure it’s not solid hardwood - but it’s also not a $2k+ table. As far as I can tell, the only difference between this and the much more expensive model is adjustable feet, cup holders, and an ice surface that appears to be a more solid material. And in my experience, Carrom customer service and responsiveness has been great. Unless I was willing to spend $300 more for the styrene ice surface, I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.3/2019 5-year Update - Dome hockey still performing with occasional use but it needed its first repair. The batteries corroded and damaged the battery pack. For $10 I ordered a 4-pack of 'Battery Holder Type: 4 X 1.5V AA' on Amazon, the same as the machine BUT with an ON/OFF switch. The OEM pack did not have a switch, and an off switch will help prevent a slow battery drain. I also moved the pack to the upper inside leg w/ a velcro mount for easier access. Still happy with this purchase.

For $670 it is not what you pay for. The table is cheaply made, along with the handles (when you play you can take them right off). I also had to write the company in regards to the scoring-it didn't work. I am still in the process of hearing back from them. Also, I must warn you that if you are taller than 5'5 prepare for your back to hurt. Due to where the scoring is located (that does not work), you need to duck to be able to see the puck.
