Light can be rendered if accidentally dropped.

I have tried many battery operated lights, and this one is by far the best I have ever used! Easy to install. The entire unit comes off the wall or ceiling when it is time to change the batteries. And it is super bright!

This is the second of these lights I've bought and installed. They are just what I needed to light two closets. They are pretty easy to install, provide adequate light where needed, and work reliably. For the price, I doubt there are many alternatives to this light. I recommend it.

Great light! Do yourself a favor!! Be sure to use better drywall anchors- go to the hardware store and pick up same diameter but anchors that actually clamp onto sheetrock. Included anchors were useless, once we installed decent anchors the inatallation was quick, light is inside dark interior coat closet and is terrific! Timer works well and is wonderful.

I have a small pantry that is about 3'x3'x8'. But it was not wired with lighting. I wanted something with batteries that would activate with motion or a switch. I chose this one. It works well. The sensor is sensitive enough to detect the pantry door opening and the light is powerful enough to illuminate the entire pantry space. It turns off after 20 seconds which is perfect. It has two modes that adjust the sensitivity. It also has a nice design.

I purchased this Toowell motion detector light as a stopgap for a dark closet with electrical issues. It works and takes the pressure off, so it may be in use for a while. I ordered the warm white version and glad I did. The lamp was well-packaged. The actual process to load in the four D batteries was simpler than the instructions, which were thorough. The motion detector does quite well and once motion stops, it fairly quickly turns off. All good. The weight of the D batteries makes the light a bit heavy, so ceiling installation should be done properly. However, I am getting the results I need with the lamp positioned on a lower shelf to shine up. Bonus is that this direction allows the cat to slink underneath without tripping the light. Since I have it in portable mode, I can easily move it to any location for a better view.

I purchased 3 lights like that. I like the sensor but I wish I could have a remote to turn it off when sleeping. Every time I move during the night just a bit the light goes on again and again even if the night mode is on… also when you are looking something in the closet if you stay still it will turn off so you need to move wildly for the sensor to detect you so you can finish looking. I wish there was more to it with a remote and be able to turn off the light without them turning on again.

If you are single and wish to put D batteries in to use it, you are going to need to go out and find at least one more person to help you, maybe two. The problem is that without the cover on the unit, the batteries want to flip out of the unit. The four batteries connectors all fit in slits in the unit and they are held there by pressure from the batteries. When inputting or changing the batteries in the unit, at least two hands, four if you can get it, are needed to press on the existing batteries, to keep them from exploding out of the unit and the battery connectors to not come out of their positions in the unit.Having to replace the D batteries recently, I am reminded by another issue. One might want to tape the unit solidly closed after installing/replacing the batteries and before hanging the unit on the wall. If not one may want to install a small net under the until, as invariably a few times while installing the first time or replacing the batteries, the unit will some how fall off the hook at least once. Of course this causes the unit to open and the 4 batteries and numerous battery connectors to fall all over the floor. The attachment hooks seem adequate but both some how this always happens, and it has happened to my husband as well.Other than these issues to the light works well. It runs for long enough when triggered and the amount of light is adequate for most locations it is likely to be installed; closets, small rooms, garages. It isn't hard to place it so that comes on when one gets near it and since it automatically turns off after no longer being triggered, it doesn't use D batteries too rapidly. So overall it works well and is very handy.

Use this in our pantry that oddly didn't come with any lighting.I started off using the little puck lights and...they are not good at all.Looked all over the place and came across this light that everyone seemed pretty happy with so I went for it and well it's good but not great.Brightness is about equivalent to a 7w LED or 35w bulb at best and I can't say it's bad at all.It does light up the pantry enough to see what we need to see, read a book by it...well not so much.4D size batteries I hope gets me a few months but it's a brand new light and I don't have more than 2 hours on it thus far.Installation literally took 5 minutes.

The only complaint I have is this does not have enough info about setting up lights for different scenarios. Very vague in set up directions.

The parking area light in my house doesn't work and as the house is old, the repairing of fixture needs to replace the wire of a large area and obviously the cost is considerable. I needed something to use in the area that is rather large but has no light. It drove me nuts every time I went to look for something in there especially in dark time because I would have to activate the flashlight. Finally found this, I looked for a battery-operated motion sensor light. I will say that the fact that it takes 4 D batteries is a little bit surprising. I hope it lasts a long time based on this, because those are not cheap, and the light did not come with batteries... The light works very well. The instructions are easy to follow.

Item arrived on time and was very well packaged . I bought this for a patient that I see as I am a home health traveling phlebotomist . She is a little 90 year old elderly lady that is just an absolute sweet heart . Anyway her hall light has went out and her grandson came over to change the bulb as that what we all thought had happened was that the old bulb had just blown and by adding a new one it work as usual . NOPE and we tried several thinking now that maybe he just picked up a bad batch of bulbs . Wells so no the case it was a lot worse and was going to be a lot more expensive because this was now an electrical problem . So her grandson just shut that breaker off so that in hopes it would stop any electrical fire or anything else bad from happening . Well my patient was really down hearted about her hall light as this was the only way she could see to get up in the middle of the night to make it to the bathroom with her walker and not fall or bump into anything . So as you can imagine she was really sad and worried on how she was going to manage . But as time went on she told she had been using a flashlight and boy was it a flashlight this thing was mega heavy even for me so imagine a little fragile 90 ur old lady ! Ugh so I felt really bad and came home jumped online to Amazon and found this wonderful light that also was motion censored . Yay !! But still the worry if it would really do the trick and do what it’s suppose to but in time as well . And though it’s made to be hung on ceiling on wall I asked her if she wanted it to be hung in ceiling or wall and she left it up to me , so after a few minutes of me playing with it to see what would work best I found that just leaving it laying on a table she had in the hall way that sets diagonal from her bedroom which so his her bathroom . So I left it there told her we would see how it works and if not we would hang it . Well no need thank God when I went back the next week she bragged and thanked me from the second I walked I. The door on her light . This light !! She was all smiles and to this day still us and constantly tells me I just love my light !! She said it comes on at the first sign of motion and stays on the entire time she walking to the bathroom , gives her plenty of time to hit the bathroom light . She said once she’s away from the light it still remains on for about 25-30 seconds . Very happy and pleased with the brightness as well . She stated she loves everything about this motion light 😊♥️ Which is a win win for me and blessed my heart that she is still super happy about her light and it’s been well over a month now since I gave it to her and set it up . Very happy that I could help her see to get up in the middle of the night with her walker and make it to the bathroom safely without her falling or bumping into things . 😊🥰Will order from this company again .By the way it takes 4 D batteries not included but I ordered her the Amazon batteries and chose the 12 pack I believe it was somewhere around $ 10-12 .00 bucks but they do have smaller packs I just wanted to be sure she had plenty extra and didn’t run out in future .The batteries work great as well not to be name brand batteries .Super happy with my purchase .
