About this item

  • Toolazy 8” Inline Duct Fan are used in indoor grow facilities and vertical farms, heating and cooling transfer, commercial drying and air filtration applications. Our inline blowers can also create negative pressure environments, simulate wind, exhaust odors and smoke as well as intake fresh air from outdoors
  • Flexible control speed : choose any speed from 0 to 100% using the included variable speed controller without creating background noise or hum at low speeds
  • Quiet and energy-saving performance is very good : EC motors with mixed flow design and PWM control can use precise electronic pulses. This allows the embedded fan to run more quietly and reach low speeds without generating noise or heat. The energy efficiency of EC motors is also twice as high, and can recover costs in the long run
  • PACKAGE DETAILS : Quiet 8” inline duct fan, AC power plug, variable speed controller and required installation hardware.Equipped with a long power cord for easy installation, it can be hung anywhere in your tent easily
  • DUCT DIAMETER : 8”(200 mm) ; Airflow: 831 CFM ;Power: 180 W ;Input voltage:AC 110~240 V,50/60 Hz ;Speed:3000 RPM;Noise: 50 dBA ; Bearings: Dual Ball

I bought this in hoping it would draw heat to our addition room and unfortunately itdoesn't do the the job in the winter. I will say it does better with the central air but inthe winter I am disappointed with it.

Added to long run for HVAC ductwork that's splits into 2 8inch duct vents and 1 4inch and has plenty of power to push the air as well as very quiet up in attic. Its been perfect so far,

This is a very high volume fan. Mounted in the attic it isn't too loud and it isn't any louder than the HVAC fan that is there now. I installed this on the furthest run from the unit to help cover the far end of the 2nd level. The fan works really well and the variable adjustment allowed me to dial in the flow that I needed to provide assistance but not 'steal' airflow from the other areas of the house. The only challenge was getting the unit mounted into the bracket once installed. It has these 2 clamps that hold the motor inline with the two ends. On the intake side of the fan there is a plastic insert that helps channel air on the intake side, getting the two ends of the unit, plus this plastic piece was kind of difficult. Adding the heat from working in the attic wasn't the most fun. All in all it was done and works well. Considering buying another to improve the flow in another area of the house.
