For the longest time, I managed my tools with a carpenter’s apron for on-person carry and a tool bucket for everything else. It worked—until it didn’t. As my project load changed, I needed a better system to increase my on-board tool inventory without adding strain. Pairing this DIYPro pouch with their matching belt has been a major upgrade. The first thing I noticed was weight distribution. Tools get surprisingly heavy, but with the right gear, you hardly feel it. Instead of constantly reaching for a bucket or fumbling through an apron pocket, everything is right where it needs to be—no second-guessing, no wasted time. Reach without looking. It’s like taking a page from the pros—they do it this way for a reason. And here’s an unexpected perk: this pouch protects you from your own tools. Unlike an apron, where tools can shift and jab you at the worst times (ask me how I know), this setup keeps everything secure and in place. The added efficiency and comfort make a huge difference, proving that working smarter beats working harder every time.I compared pouch systems from other brands sold both online and at local home improvement stores. The DIYPro was lighter in weight without compromising quality or size, which is important to me personally. I love it!

Does the job. Quality made. Plenty of organizational options. Don’t actually use it in a belt, just for organizing and to quick grab as it sits on my work bench

I have a good quality dewalt belt and some leather suspenders that stop me from getting into tough built or some other options. I liked the versatility of tough builts system of quickly attaching and detaching bags and moving them to toolbags or there boxes or what have you. I like this option for electrical work where I don't need a bunch of tools hanging from my waist. It quickly attached to my belt and I fill up my bag and snap it in place. It wouldn't survive the work site, but replacing outlets, upgrading lighting, or other jobs around the house work just fine.

Easy to use, extremely durable and holds up well on the job site. The clip is easy to open and affix to the wearers belt.. once the pouch is attached the pouch stays secure without any movement whatsoever. Removing is just as easy, both the pouch separately or along with the belt clip. The best way to describe the design is that similar to a seatbelt mechanism. Extremely easy to use. As for the rugged pouch, it is lightweight yet holds 21 or as many different tools that are needed to complete a specific job. Each tool has its own respective pocket or strap within the pouch for easy access. Also, there are outer loops for long handled tools, straps for keys, a measuring tape and rolls of assorted tapes and wires.I ordered this for my spouse who is a Maintenance Manager for a large hotel and he attested to the fact that it had helped him enormously with time management and ensuring he's got everything on his person that he needs to perform various maintenance tasks throughout the day. Additionally, the tool pouch would be ideal for a DIYer all the way up to someone who works on a construction site.

Like a lot of homeowners that are handy, I find myself working on little projects around the house ALL the time. Sometimes they require me to grab several bags of tools from the garage, but other times I just need a few things. Most recently I had to adjust and shim some kitchen cabinets that were hung crooked, and also replaced a couple of electrical outlets and cover plates at the same time. I was able to put the necessary tools and parts in this bag and carry it into the kitchen, set it down in my work area and get everything done while keeping the tools handy and organized the entire time. I was able to move it back and forth to my belt if I needed to move to a new area and needed my hands free for something and then easily unclip it and set it down again so that I could kneel, squat (or climb upside down in a cabinet!).Overall it is very well made from durable materials and high quality stitching with one exception that I'll cover in a minute. The clip for a tape measure is always a welcome addition and the carry handle is made out of thick high-quality plastic (it feels like a nylon composite to me). The only knocks I have against this tool pouch are that the loops inside the main pocket are not elastic, so they are limited in terms of what you can carry and you have to be sure not to tip it sideways too far or the tools will fall out (only gravity holds them in the bag). Yes, elastic wears out eventually, but I really would prefer this bag with elastic loops to secure the tools. The other knock I have is that the belt clip itself feels like it is very cheaply made and the clasp that locks it looks very prone to breaking. I don't think this belt clip would survive daily use for very long, but for someone that grabs it, loads a few tools into it and heads into the house our out to the car for a quick job, it should hold up well.

The quality of this tool pouch is actually better than the Dewalt ones that I got from Home Depot. The belt clip is quite thick and it doesn’t get loose. The nylon is also quite thick so the tools can be held steady. Highly recommend.
