I have two grandsons that swear by these! They say they could never use another pouch after having these. They don’t need another because these will last for years. Best birthday gifts I ever gave them!

I was looking for a leather pouch for durability, but was tempted to try this one because of the high ratings. The rating is justified. The material seems durable even as the tools rub going in and out. I like that it has a handle, but also fits on a belt, and that it sits upright when needed. The TP4-B is one of the smaller ones. Now I'm thinking of also getting a couple of larger different Veto Pro Pac models for other purposes.

This tool belt accessory is well constructed, heavy duty and sturdy. Very well thought out, has a carry handle, a metal clip for attaching to a belt, and a wide base that holds it for so it can easily rest on a table. While on the expensive side, this brand for me is the Cadillac of tool belt accessories! Well worth the price!

I'm an Advanced Maintenance guy for a resort, with my plumbing and electrical licenses. We manage over six hundred properties everything from multi-million dollar mansions to condos, and every type of repair from appliances, furniture, electrical, heating, plumbing etc etc. I looked for a tool bag that wasn't overpriced underperforming garbage that wouldn't last me a week like all the big box stores stuff. Let me just tell you: if you're thinking about it, do it. Veto makes the best tool bags in the business, I have 3, this one holds all my basics for 80% of my jobs, and has held up to abuse and 14 hour days with no problems. You can't go wrong with Veto. The only recommendation I'd make to Veto is the clips on the hand holding strap need to be bigger and stronger, mine are holding up but I can tell they'll be the first thing to go after awhile.

I'm an electrician, not an HVAC guy, but I still like this bag. Had the original TP4 for a while, used it for a while, and liked it. Like many others though, I got sick of having it fall over every time I set it down. I also tend to work outside quite a bit, and didn't like having to set the bag down in snow or water without something protecting the bottom. Enter the TP4-B, which solves all of those problems.Only trouble is, when they made the TP4-B, they didn't just add a plastic bottom to the existing bag. The main four tool loops in the back are all physically larger and deeper than on the original bag, the front covered pocket is now deeper and seems to be slightly wider as well, the side pockets towards the middle of the pouch are larger, and have extra pockets on the pockets compared to the original bag, and the area just behind the covered pocket is far, far deeper than on the original pouch. Now, none of those things are necessarily bad, they're just different from how the original TP4 was built. The only thing that bothers me personally is the area just behind the covered front pocket being so deep. There's actually a space under there, which runs under the other part of the pouch. I used to keep a reamer, small pipe cutter and outlet tester in that area, but with the new bag, those small tools will now disappear into the abyss under the rest of the pouch, and it becomes a massive PITA to get them out. Hopefully the picture explains it better. If you're switching from the TP4 to the TP4-B, expect to spend some time setting up the new bag. It's not really the same as the old bag, and in my experience at least, nothing really fit properly in the new bag compared to the original, so I had to change my setup completely.I've included a picture of the original TP4 alongside the new TP4-B, for size comparison. It's difficult to spot the differences, but once you start loading it up, you'll notice them. I also included a couple pictures comparing the TP4-B to the Occidental Leather 5053 Pocket Caddy, just for size reference. While the original TP4 could be used on a standard tool belt, which I did for a while before turning it into a dedicated bag, the TP4-B seems to be designed primarily as a stand-alone tool carrier. It's taller, wider and heavier than the original TP4, and seems to have more nuanced storage abilities than the original bag. The TP4-B is more the kind of bag you want to look at, and then select your tool, as compared to the original TP4, which if you used it long enough, you could just grab and go without looking. If you do need to carry small tools, like I do, consider jamming them into the belt loop. Since this bag is too big to be worn on a belt (in my opinion at least), the loop is really just extra storage. I managed to get my plug tester, reamer and pipe cutter all in there without too much trouble, and now I don't have to try fishing them out of the bottom of the bag when I need them. All in all, this is still a really nice tool carrier, even if it is more "tote" than "pouch" now. Compared to my original TP4, I was able to fit 6 more screwdrivers, two more rolls of tape and a headlamp in this, without making everything super jammed together. Everything fits just snug, so when it falls over now, I'll only lose a couple tools instead of all of them.Oh, and yes, there's a spot for a tape measure now. If you have a full size tape though, don't plan on using it - it makes the bag front heavy, and makes it want to fall over. With the tape on the front, even the slightest nudge will make it fall over, just like the original TP4.Now all they need to do is make the plastic base go all the way under the front covered pocket and they just might have a bag that legitimately doesn't fall over....

Had a previous TP4 which was very good. The new TP4-B is just as good storage wise, but the solid base means it is more stable and is waterproof. Still my go to bag as it carries all the tools I need to do most things. Great bag.
