Many newer cars have a “soft opening” glove box so it doesn’t just drop down suddenly. There’s a dampener with a black cord type line on it and it hooks to the glovebox. Mine was broken. I used this to replace that broken length of cord and it works like new! It even is just about identical look and thickness to OEM one!

I am new to bead making so I didn’t wanna spend an arm leg on string. This is perfect for beginners and I love that you get so much for the price. Color is perfect because it blends so well with all the colors of different beads. It is strong because I have made several wristlets and they have not yet fallen apart or broke.

This appears to be good quality cord. However it was much thinner than expected. Perhaps its my lack of knowledge regarding how this type of cord is gaged. But I can’t imagine where the claimed “1.5mm” comes into play.It’s definitely not 1.5mm in diameter, I don’t think it’s even has 1.5mm circumference.If you know what you’re ordering and looking for thin cording, this would be fine. If you’re looking for thick cord, try another.
