When I make bracelets with beads I usually use wire as my preference, mostly because most of the elastic for bracelets seems flimsy. I was making some bracelets for my grandchildren and wanted to make stretch ones, so I gave this a try after reading reviews. This elastic cord for beading is amazing it has stretch but is still very strong. I may make more elastic style bracelets now. The knots have been holding well even without any glue. Since I was making stuff for my grandchildren, I did order a thicker 1mm diameter so that does make it less stretchy, but it still stretches plenty.

I have been using this stretch cord for many years now in my jewelry business. It is very strong and I have never had a single problem with any of the rolls that I have purchased. They deliver very fast and the roll lasts a very long time. If you tie it correctly it holds the know with not problems. I have not had any customers returning their bracelets for breakage. It is just the right size to go through the normal 1mm size hole in most semi precious gemstone beads.

I have been using this elastic string for the last 5 years to make bracelets and it’s the best quality on the market. Perfect thickness for the beads I use and it’s very strong. My customers are still using bracelets I made them 5 years ago. I have made thousands of bracelets and only use this. I stretch the cord at the end to make a strong knot. Highly recommend this product.

Making Stretch bracelets with children and older adults. The 1mm cord is easy for them to handle. Does not stretch out of shape over time. Great product!

Ho sempre usato questa marca in formato più piccolo…quindi sono rimasta delusa nell’acquisto del formato grande, completamente diverso con poca elasticità e resistenza alla trazione. Certo migliore dei comuni fili elastici per bracciali, ma c’è qualcosa che non va.

This thread has worked very well for me.I've made over 800 bracelets with it. Very strong and stretchy.There are just a couple things you should know about it.1-Never use end caps. Caps can tighten the bracelets nicely. But they don't stay tight very long, and always pinch your wrist. So it's much better to tie a knot. Two to the right, tighten. One to the left, tighten. Tie as many knots as possible making it long and thick, then(using Tacky Glue), glue the knot and let sit overnight for 12 hours.

Probably similar priced to micheals, but could also be cheaper than.I like this plastic string, it’s very strong compared to 0.5mm or 0.7mm, keep in mind it is elastic so stretching it over time will make it....well....stretched... so remember it won’t last forever really!I have to knot it about 4-5 times to keep it from untying.I have purchased this now for the 4th time off amazon and making a review and I’ll keep coming back if the price is good!
