You need to get a toddy. Very easy, cleanup is so simple. You’ll save so much money making cold brew at home and it can taste better if you know what you’re doing. Trust me. With a name in the game like Toddy and how high quality their products are, you can’t go wrong.

Makes very strong cold brew concentrate. I recommend using the filter and bags when brewing

I’m not a coffee snob by any means. I used to make cold brew in a diffuser and it was a pain shaking it up every time I passed the fridge to get it to fully brew to concentrate, and that usually took a few days.In 24hrs this thing made the strongest, smoothest, most amazing concentrate I’ve ever had! I drink coffee black now because it’s so delicious. Instructions recommend watering down 4:1, but I just do 50/50 (if that) and the cold brew taste like coffee ice cream (with no cream or sugar added, it’s THAT smooth)! You won’t regret buying this.

It’s overpriced for what it is, but he coffee is great. Cleanup is a mess without filter bags. Makes enough concentrate for 3-4 coffees a day for 4 days. You will use much more coffee using cold brew than with a drip coffee maker, maybe twice as much.

Making cold brew is simple - add some water and coffee grounds together in some kind of container and wait. So why would you spend $40+ on some plastic? Because the system makes it super convenient. The bucket is designed to basically take a whole pound of coarse ground coffee. This may seem minor, but it is great because you use a can use a full pound of coffee each time and not have to constantly have leftover grounds. The next thing I love about this thing is the cleanup. There is a felt disc filter about the size of a cookie that sits in the bottom of the bucket and then the larger filter paper bag that holds the grounds and I highly recommend you use both. Finally, the glass carafe that comes with it is excellent because it's made of glass and has a mostly airtight seal. If you are creative you can probably make something that does the same job for half the money, but I believe this system is indeed worth it for the convenience.

The coffee that this Toddy system produces is the smoothest we’ve ever had!

I have not used this one. I had one before that I used often. I work at Starbucks and we use a five gallon Toddy, the same brand. I gave my original one to my daughter-in-law because she loves making cold brew. This one has a nice little rubber top to go on top ( I used to put a small saucer on top). That was a nice addition. I have been working so much that I don't need to make it because I always bring a drink home.I love this Cold Brew System. I have to say I have not tried any other, so I cannot compare. Also, Toddy gives you a lot of recipes and directions for varying amounts of coffee too.

If you love coffee and drink Cold Brew, this is the coffee maker for you. I LOVE my Toddy Cold Brew System. Just fill it up with water and your favorite coffee grounds and let it sit over night or for 24 Hours. My cold brew carafe lasts me all week and I'm spending a fraction of the cost than going to Starbucks (FYI: Starbucks uses the Toddy Cold Brew System). This product is a little pricey for my liking however, will save you lots of money in the future and is well worth the purchase. Bought one for my neighbor as a Birthday gift. Enjoy! Cheers!

I’m no coffee expert nor snob; I’m generally just as happy with Dunkin’s offerings as I am with the elite metropolitan cafe’s. I have, however, grown to only enjoy coffee in its chilled form. This left me a few options for my morning dose of legal stimulants: spending $4-6 a day at a shop, putting drip brewed coffee over ice (rendering it weak as a kitten) or making my own cold brew.I had been looking for a reputable home cold brew kit for a while (doing it totally DIY seems inherently messy, and a French press just doesn’t make enough) and a barista friend recommended this here product. I just decanted my first batch and let me tell you - this thing is It. It’s easy to figure out even without the directions (use them tho) and produces a damn good cup of coffee. I used 12oz of course ground Colombian beans and 7 cups of plain ole tap water (I refuse to weigh water. Gimme a break) and it’s *chef’s kiss* good. Dilute 1 part cold brew concentrate to 2 parts water over ice, add creamer if you so desire, and enjoy.Once the included bag filters run out I will probably forego them, but they do make cleanup easy.
