- The threaded and nutted surfaces of macebell are susceptible to corrosion from moisture and perspiration, and can be stored with a layer of clean oil or anti-rust lubricant to prevent rust from occurring.
- It should be stored in a ventilated and dry place, preferably on a stand.
- The threads of the weights are sharp, so please be careful of getting scratched when removing and installing the weights.

One of the bigger weights that are included does not have matching threads. Literally cannot connect one of the segments.Edited: customer service is excellent. They refunded a portion of the product cost
