Works well. Installed it for my epson 6040ub which now starts and switches off via the harmony hub without skipping.

My grandma lost her remote, and we couldn't get a universal remote to work on the TV. Turns out that we needed one of these in order for the TV to pick up the signal. Universal remote is working properly now thanks to this.

This worked perfectly with the OREI Wireless HDMI Transmitter Receiver Extender 1080P Kit with IR Remote that I purchased to view AV from components too far for quality viewing. The IR receiver that came with the unit had a cable that was too short for me to properly position the Wireless HDMI Transmitter and still control the system components. I attempted to use other cables to extend the original, but none worked. The TNP IR Emitter Extender Extension Cable paired well with the OREI Wireless HDMI Transmitter and I am able to easily control the two system components in the living room from the bedroom.

Did not control 3 devices on my system. Had everything setup for 3 devices, even had a two emitter cable control my 3 devices most of the time (it would sometimes not turn off TV). They were all setup on the Xbone fine, though this wouldn't work with any device, even tried to reconfigured Xbox, still nothing. Went back to two emitterr device because this didn't control my 3 devices: TV, Cable Box, Surround Sound.Let me be clear, my two emitter device controls the Cable Box, Surround Sound perfectly, it only sometimes doesn't turn off the TV when turning off the Xbone. When turning on Xbox, it turns on ALL THREE devices just fine with my two emitter device. This product wouldn't signal ANY of my devices. Sticking with the two emitter and simply turning off TV with cable remote. refunding this.

Well built little extender cable. Works perfect as an extender with existing IR transmitter (Blumoo) which can't directly beam to components because it doesn't have a direct line-of-sight to the components. Those components include a TiVo, Yamaha Receiver and Sharp TV. IR emitter transmitters don't have to be placed directly on the device IR receiving sensor but in line of sight a few inches away. I use a flashlight to locate the IR sensor on each component. It's usually a little round hole somewhere on the front surface of the component. I then use bluetac to hold the IR extender sensor on the flat surface in front of or attached to the bottom of the shelf above the component. Highly recommended.

Very nicely made. Wire feels high-quality (very supple). Molded casing on the miniplug end is sturdy with a decent anti-fatigue "tail" on it. Unit comes with the 3 wires which power the emitters bonded together until very close to the emitter heads, but you just easily pull them apart to split the wire to where it works for your application.I am pretty sure I have a nonstandard use-case for this, so I'll post the details in case anyone else happens to be searching for these keywords. For my application, in my RV I have an older IR repeater (a RiverPark AVI-20 connecting block) that uses RCA (phono) plugs to connect the emitters (a.k.a. transmitters or "blasters"). Apparently no one in the known universe (including Riverpark) makes these anymore; everyone uses 3.5mm mini-plugs, now, like these. So I bought an adapter () and these emitters. I fully expected this to fail miserably. Or, at the very least, be wired "backward" to how the repeater expected it (because Murphy's Law) and have to re-wire these.Amazingly, it works *perfectly*!

I purchased this along with the to use with my Logitech Harmony Smart control. It plugs right into the rear port of the Logitech Hub, and works well on my Onkyo Receiver, LG Blu Ray and Verizon Fios STB. Having read reviews on similar IR emitters, I knew this one fires the IR out the front, not through the bottom. So, using the included tiny self stick pads (would be great if it came with extras), I adhered each emitter to the face of each device, adjacent to, (not on top of) the IR sensor on each device.Works really well, and solved my issue with distributing the IR to multiple devices inside my BDI audio cabinet.Make sure you buy the Monoprice, (or similar) adapter linked above or the 3.5mm plug will not fit into the Logitech Hub.
