My 13 year old son appreciates these! He is 5'1" with a 27" waist. I got him the size 12-13 years and they fit just right. He plays a lot of sports so these are good for practice or just for playing outside. The inner mesh short helps keep him cool in our 95-100 degree weather and the hidden pockets on the mesh are a bonus.

My 11yo son LOVES these shorts! They are his new favs as they offer great comfort and breathability. They have the right amount of compression in the liner to be tight, but not too tight. The outer shell is also loose enough to easily access the liner pocket to retrieve phone or other small items. They are a little above his knee, which is perfect. And the color is great, can't go wrong with gray and black. Great value for the price.

If you're like me and shop based on the number of reviews to stars ratio, this one is for you. There's no reason that these shorts don't have more reviews/purchases. I feel like people will catch on soon. THEY ARE PERFECT! My son is a wrestler and headed to wrestling camp, these shorts are perfect for the mat on a hot summer day or any sport...or any day that you aren't participating in a sport. extremely light weight. The pocket underneath is a super bonus. I had my 12yr old son try them on to see how they fit and his exact words were "Tell me I don't have to take these off, they are sooooo comfortable!" I'm about to buy the other colors. I wish there were more color options. I wish I could fit by wide hips in them LOL. My son is 12yrs old, about 93lbs we ordered 12/13. I am an honest reviewer and these are 100% worth the price.
