LOVE these shorts. First, know that the prices change a lot and there are options with more shorts in a pack, so shop the brand around before committing. But here is the review of the product: I live in the South of the US and for almost the entire year my boys wear shorts. I have 2 boys 12 and 11. The 11 y/o is on the shorter side for kids his age and still has some “baby” weight, where my 12 year old is already 5’5 and only 100 lbs. HOWEVER, When I got the first pack intended for the 12 y/o, it was discovered that the size *xlarge, fit both boys perfectly. I ended up gettin 6 more packs of all the different colors from this specific company. Unbeknownst to me, my husband order 3 packages… so we have *(some orders came with more shorts as per the description for slightly more money) 10 packages in all and like 60 pairs of shorts!!! They love them and I do too! The material is nice *doesn’t pull, and isn’t “shiny” like other athletic shorts. Almost all the stripes are black though, wish some were navy. The bright fluorescent colors are so nice! They’ve been washed at least 10 times already, and they look like the day we bought them each time…. I should NOT have wrote about them, because the one down side is that they are hard to get a hold of in certain sizes at certain times of the year. *mostly larger kids sizes around back to school… so order accordingly!

These are the best. True to the size advertised. Great value and not heavy or thick. The tie around the waist is so long. I just removed it from each pair and the elastic works perfectly fine.

My son usually wears a size 8 so I ordered the 7-8 in size. The shorts are long in fit, as they go down to his knees. The waste is a little big but the drawstring helps keep them on. The material is very breathable and in the heat this summer he said it's been great to not sweat so much in them. The colors are very vivid and match a lot of different things due to the color choices. We will order more

I was looking for a more traditional orange to match a specific shirt so I was a bit disappointed that what I got was much brighter than what I thought I had ordered. That being said, I absolutely LOVE the colors and how bright they are. They are neon and look great. The material is a bit thin so make sure your kid wears underwear that doesn't show through. It's more visible on the yellow than any color. The photos that I added still don't show just how bright these are.

Really great fit and quality. I love the colors and they have already lasted a long time. I will definitely be buying more when he outgrows this size. They're long, breathable, great for play, sleep, and I am even ok with him wearing them to school. Very versatile.
