The shorts fit my son perfect but the cup is a little big for his age. He is 9 years old and weighs 62 lbs and I got a youth small for him. He said that the cup is uncomfortable so he will not be wearing it.

My son needed something that would both hold his cup under his baseball uniform and protect him when he slides. He was wearing 2 different things - both underwear and shorts - and it was hot and bulky on warm baseball game days. This was a better option for him that was slim under his uniform and met both of his needs. Will purchase in a larger since when he outgrows.
