This TWO(2) Ton Snatch Block with Swivel Hook / 3" Sheave for 3/8" Wire Rope / Heavy-Duty Snatch Pulley 4400lbs for Efficient Towing and Recovery looks to be well-built, claims to have been "FORGED and does have a "good-feel" to it. I can definitely see where it has lift and pulling applications in addition to vehicle towing and recovery. Not sure why they refer to it having a three(3)-Inch sheave, but this "SHEAVE" is actually the pulley-wheel (Pulley) inside the shell; i.e., easy to find the sheave - it looks like a wheel. Nice to have for wire or synthetic rope/cable connections: Swivel Hook, Snatch Block with grease fitting and three(3") pulley; for use with 3/8" wire or synthetic ropes with claimed 4400lbs working load limit - Nice !!

With only a 2 ton capability this went into my crew cab side by side recovery tool box for which it is very suited. Made from forged steel, it has a swivel hook that is also quite capable. Though it can handle 3/8” wire or fabric core lines, this looks and feels very heavy duty. I have yet to do a recovery on my side by side but I’m sure this will make the job much easier than a regular straight winch pull. It allows your winch, cables, ropes or straps to work so much more easily to get the job done, as long as you know how to rig it properly. Paint quality looks good as does the build quality. I’m glad I chose this TKK 2 ton snatch block. I consider it a good value at the price.

Ordered/Received this 4 Ton Snatch Block with Hook - 8800 lbs Capacity - 4.5" Sheave - Accepts 1/2" Wire Rope/Cable - High Strength Tool for my business. I do trenching work residential & commercial digging and have a HD Hydraulic pump and engine on a mobile platform and have to move it from job to job. I was needing one like this to handle 4,000 to 6,000 Lb loads and this will do the job. I like the heavy forged build, and it's design as it will accept up to 1/2" wire cable. It's very well made and will certainly do any/all of my needed lifting, towing, or pulling. I also like that it came with factory plate that shows the (4) Ton capacity rating. Also like that it has the grease fitting so I can keep it greased, This is a good addition of needed tools for my lifting and towing. This would also serve any towing / Rollback business good as it's well built and will last. Came nicely painted and meets DOT requirements.Really like the spring loaded safety latch - I have to give this a 5 star rating

They worked great for what I wanted to do. Have used them to load vehicles on my trailer and large logs. Very pleased.
