The actual ramp was solid and in good shape. However when it arrived it was missing the support legs and bolts. After contacting the vendor we ended up returning it.

BEWARE!!!. This dock plate does not work as is. It should have a bend at the end so it sits flush to the ground. There is a 1.5" gap from the floor to the plate. No way to use a floor jack or stand up forklift. Worthless. We now need to cut the medal, bend the last 4" of the plate, re-weld the plate in order to use it.Overall the quality of the material is great, but it isn't usable. Disappointed.

This works OK. It's heavy as hell (all steel) so you will need a forklift to place it.Also, there are two U-channels welded to the bottom and unless your truck is significantly higher than your dock the plate won't sit flat on the floor. Every time you roll over it it will kick up and slam back down VERY LOUDLY.We attached a shim to the bottom edge to prevent this, but now we have a 1" step at the bottom of the ramp- OK for forklifts, bad for pallet jacks. I didn't want to modify it because that's one of the first things investigators will look for in a workplace injury incident ("Mr. Supervisor, are you a qualified mechanical engineer? No?") but it wasn't usable as it was.
