Aluminum Dock Plates

The Guardian Aluminum Loading Dock Plates come with a lip-bend and machine beveled edges to provide a smooth transition from a dock surface to tractor-trailer bed for material handling with pallet jack trucks and hand carts. They bridge the gap between trailers and loading docks easily and conveniently. Made from heavy-duty 0.375" thick aluminum plate construction with a diamond tread surface, each plate includes bolt-on steel lock legs to help reduce plate shifting between trailer and dock during use. Two people can move it using the built-in carrying handles to and from loading areas. Designed for use with non-motored equipment, pallet trucks, pallet jacks, foot traffic and hand carts only.

- Measure the height of your truck bed from the ground
- Measure the height of your loading dock from the ground
- Subtract the highest number from the lowest
- Use a dock board designed to handle that height differential or lower

THE RAMP IS GOOD AND DOES THE JOB BUT ITS MISSING ALL THE SCREWS AND LEGS. THEY EVEN HAVE IT AS PART OF THE MANUAL BOOK BUT DON'T INCLUDE IT INSIDE THE PACKAGE.

The ramp itself is great and the handles. Great strength etc. but it is annoying when it doesn’t come with hardware (nuts bolts & washers).

Very well made, handles are welded to legs and bolts are 5/16” hexagon with vinyl lined 3/4” nuts and came in separate box. Ramp is heavy duty with beveled edge. Painted edge is attractive and adds safety.

The product shipped only came with the platform, not the retainer wall or any of the hardware. Not sure if it ships in two separate packages, but as-is, this is a useless (giant) paperweight.

Well made, more than adequate capacity for our needs and safe to use. It's also light enough that two people can easily use it.We bought it for unloading 8 x 20 containers with a pallet jack in a very tight space. This does the job nicely and has held up for nearly a year now with no issues.
