Bought for using pepper balls which turned out poor products. Customer support worked out a refund even though Amazon wouldn’t. Gun is high quality and accurate. All the pepper balls I tried are what’s low quality.

This gun fired once and wouldn't fire again. I went through about 4 CO2 cartridges thinking that may be the problem and it wasn't. Messing with the velocity didn't help. When I took it apart, the firing pin was bent and a few of the parts didn't match the sizes from the manual. They also used a spring with way too much resistance and I couldn't get the thing back together. I see a lot of high reviews, so maybe they switched manufacturers or something because the one I got was total crap. I can't recommend this brand.

This is a huge pistol. Feels a bit like a toy, but don't be fooled. Plasticky yes, but it fires 50 cal 12 gram balls with enough force to take down an intruder quite easily. I found it to be very accurate at about 10 yards and at that range it still delivers a punch. The best feature is that you can store the gun with a co2 cartridge indefinately as the cartridge is not punctured until you pull the trigger for the first time. Once the cartridge is punctured, you'll want to use it up before storing with a new cartridge this way it will always be ready to fire.

When I originally bought this gun, I had no idea of what I was doing. I managed to crack the regulator in the back. I called Tippmann and they told me to send in the regulator. I did, they fixed it for free and sent it back, free of charge. Then a couple of weeks ago I was in a game and the gun was taking a beating. It got shot close range, dumped crap paint through it, and dropped it and dragged it behind me. Finally it had enough when I hit it against a wall on accident. It started to leak from everywhere on the gun. I called Tippmann and they tried to help me fix it. I couldn't get it to work so they told me to send the entire gun in. I sent it on Monday with 2day shipping. I got it back Wednesday night. I figured they told me it wasn't covered. I opened up the box and they completely replaced the inside of the gun. For free! With no problems what so ever. I took it out last week and played with it and it was perfect. No problems. With my luck though I fell again and the gun went flying. I figured it was broken, but it was fine. Still shot fine. I recommend this gun to anyone who likes paintball. When I don't bring it on the field I find myself needing it more often than not.

This pistol is a game changer. Here is my story.PAST:For 3 years I've been renting the Tippmann 98c or the x7 at arenas. Don't get me wrong they are decent markers, but my playing style has evolved over time from a scared seedling hiding behind cover to an impressive maple whose branches reach the far corners of the arena so that no one can hide from me.REALIZATIONIn the last year, I've been very mobile: Pushing up the front, claiming the middle, diving into cover, or running up the flanks. I realized that the bulky markers have slowed me down and hindered my playing style. My fear of being hit was lessening while my ego was rising like grazing giraffe.PURCHASEAfter reviewing the options of pistols and the forums related, I chose the TiPx because of the accessories one can buy for it. Barrels, magazines, etc are what made the pistol have the edge over the competition. When I got the pistol, it was perfect for my hand span (8.8 inches or 22.3 cm). I did have to paint the sights, but I will not complain because I was making my mark on this pistol, personalizing it for me.FIRST IMPRESSIONWithout altering my existing playing style, my first time getting someone out was an incredible experience (about 30 feet / 9.1 meters, two shots). The rush was more than successfully picking up the hottest lady at a bar after drinking 7 energy drinks. I could feel my chest hairs and beard grow an inch. I lost my head completely and raised my arms in victory, gave a roar that Hercules and Sparta would approve, then got shot out. The guy I tagged out was a fully decked out player with remote lines and everything. He congratulated me and we shook hands.EXPERIENCE OVERALLAccuracy is amazing. I only needed two shots to take a player out from about 50 feet / 15.24 meters when he was peeking out of cover. Running with the pistol is as fluid as my diarrhea. Right off the bat, I have lost the ability to effectively suppress fire. But that doesn't faze me too much, I can out flank them as I always have. Now that I'm picking my shots, I use A LOT LESS ammunition. The 12 gram Co2 cartridge throwing you a red flag? So far I have only needed to change it once per day. PER DAY (4 - 7 matches, one Co2 gets me through 21 shots). The holster fits my leg like a glove, and has withstood much abuse. I have noted that I have made people surrender as many times as I have tagged people out with this pistol. That is because I run a lot, and I tend to see opponents with tunnel vision looking another direction or they run/walk into me around a corner. My personal rule is if the opponent is within 10 feet / 3 meters, I politely yell SURRENDER OR GET SHOT. So far, they have all surrendered, because I can raise my pistol faster than they can raise their bulky marker, and whether you can shoot 300 fps or 200 fps, a point blank shot will hurt regardless. In fact, despite me being shot out 80% of the games, I notice that I am no longer being hit in the body, head or marker. My arms take the shots mainly because the pistol offers more comfort shooting from behind cover. With great power comes great responsibility. This pistol is a POWERFUL tool in the right hands.THINK I'M OUT OF MY MIND?!Perhaps. By now my ego is the size of Jupiter. If that isn't enough, every time I go, there are at LEAST 3 people who ask and make sure its not a real gun, 2 people who has if they can hold it, and 10 people who I overhear talking about the pistol at my side and how they want one. When I am shot out, there is usually a group of people simply watching me, and giving praise. When I make people surrender, I have had 2 opponents tell me "Well played sir" Even the employees remember me, and one gave me a bonus 100 paint balls for the day, which is more than enough to last me a day (4 - 7 matches).WHY 2?If I extended the magazine on just the one, I'm still going to be reloading behind cover. The second one is for "New York Reloading" for the times that I am out of ammunition or air. That second one is going to be stock. The first one will have the accessories.

This is a fun little gun, works well 20 to 30 feet, I have been getting about 9 shots per CO2 cartridge, which is what I expected from a full size paintball handgun. I have only had it jam twice, but did not have to take it all the way apart (just blew in it with magazine out) and it was working fine again.
