Better working Spyder gun for the price. I have an older version of the Xtra (2006 model). Bought this for my daughter and we have gone paintballing together a couple times. Lightweight and super accurate. I upgraded the barrel to a cp barrel 16”. The feedback I would recommend to be swapped out for a feedneck that has a clamp which saves you time and effort when putting on your hopper. My daughter is 11 so I also bought her a drop forward to have the weight more in the center of the gun with the air tank. She tended to shoot higher because of this. The stock barrel runs a tight .68 caliber and will pop lower grade paintballs. If you decide to get after market parts for this gun and want to match get dust purple for the color.

Works great but you can’t shoot full speed unless you buy an electric hopper and it works. Mine hopper was broken when I used it the first time🥲

So far I have had a few problems with the marker itself, barrels that say fit it don't.. but fit my brothers, and my bolt has been getting grooved up pretty badly, come to find out, there is a bevel right on the edge where the bolt slides into.. if you buy, just know you could have my same issues

For a beginner gun, the Spyder Xtra stands well to its brand. The gun shoot relatively quick and it has good build quality. The only factor that threw my rating down was that inserting for air into an hpa tank and putting it on the gun made me have to readjust the fps knob (also a useful piece on the gun).But overall, the gun is really good for starting paintball. Spyder holds true to being a great starters choice marker and shows how fun and non discouraging paintball can be.
