I bought this to make seed drying racks. It came rolled up and in a box. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make this lay flat. I will never buy again unless it is shipped flat.

About 3-5 times thicker wire than normal window screen wire, excellent for rodent proofing anything or making a fine sieve for rocks. be aware it is cut in such a way that the end strands don't pull out but its not welded wire it's woven, so the edges will need trimmed or secured in some way depending on your use. Would make good vent cover for rodents etc. Very pleased with the quality, a rare find these days.

Used this to make screens for the fridge vent on my motorhome. Spacing was tighter than the premade stuff that does not fit good. Need good utility scissors to cut; bends good and holds the form.

Wanted to replace my old rusted and broken fire pit screen at least once on my own. This just barely fit my around 24x24” lid when the two pieces put together. Secured mesh to lid frame with 22 gauge galvanized steel wire. Shiny and new. First fire of corse blackens and gives that oily sheen look in spots as expected. But no more embers flying into the woods now. Next time I’ll probably just find a newer fire pit at a yard sale. But wanted to try at least once on my own and it’s cheaper then a new screen lid or fire pit. Being steel it held up to the fire and helped retain an overall general curved shape.

Used this to make a plastic bin enclosure for my ball python. I also used the remaining mesh to create a small cage for my fogging tube so that he can't escape or mess with the tubing. Very very sturdy. Aside from using it for an enclosure, It's also perfect for keeping out rodents. Even a monster sized rat couldn't chew through or bend this mesh. It's easy enough to bend by hand but not so much that it's too flexible. To put it into perspective, when i was making the bin set up, after I cut a large rectangle into the lid, I set a fitted piece on top of the hole I made without tying it down and I set a large heat lamp on it and it didn't even warp the mesh at all.

I use it for grilling shrimp and fish. I folded about 1/2" of each end and flattened in a vise. This gave it a clean edge without having to get fancy. Cleans up with a brush and soap. Keeps the rack clean. If you use it in the oven, make sure to have a throw away oven pan in the bottom as grease drips through. In a convection oven, you don't have to turn anything over. Works great!2021-01-21It started to get some buildup I couldn’t scrub off, so I put it outside on the gas barbecue, turned it on high, closed the lid and burned the buildup to ash. I suppose you could also put it in the oven on a clean cycle. 😉
