Was very excited for this purchase but it doesn’t work. It would play my CDs for a couple seconds then shut off. Tried multiple CDs and the same thing happened. Will be returning

I have not tried it yet because I don't actually listen to CD's that much lately but I definitely want to have the option to do so. This is a little cd player that does not take up much space and looks cute along with my record player. It is super cute and is also practical. I got this for myself but it would also be a nice gift for someone who appreciates nostalgic items.

I was actually so impressed at how easy this was to use and pair with other electronics. I wish the sound was a little bit better quality. But it is very clear. And if you're looking for a portable way to play your CDs this is a great way to do it. It's just too adorable. And it reminds me of back in the day when I used to own one of these "actual" record players in a box. It's fun to have!

VERDICTAvoidWHYThis CD player has a cute design and is retro inspired by old record players. However, I have another unit that is similar but with better sound quality and better construction. This specific player can be fine as a little stocking stuffer or for a kid - but I would still avoid it since comparable better units are available.* Poor tinny sound quality. There are 2x 4-Ohm 5W speakers but their sound reproduction is horrible. No lows and everything is terribly tinny on the high side.* Creepy "CD mode" and "bluetooth mode" is announced when switching between modes.* Very poor construction and finish. The plastic is very cheap low-density plastic. The printing of the symbols is BACKWARDS for the play/pause button. The screws on the top are exposed - on another unit, rubber caps were used to mask the screws.* ports and indicator light at back of unit are not labeled at all. The instruction manual is WRONG. It swaps the labeling of the indicator light and audio output port.To be fair, for around $30 you cannot expect much and so I can see why corners were cut. If you search on Amazon, you can find a better model for $50 - much better sound quality, much better construction and finish - and includes microSD playback too. It's much better to spend $50 and get something you can actually like and use instead of $30 for what will likely become e-Waste soon.

I am in love with this little CD player. It's such an awesome idea, I wish I had this when CDs were more mainstream. It combines 2 nostalgic things with vinyl and CDs, and the result is really fun. It's such a nice little box, doesn't take up much space, and it works great. While it was playing music, I was able to move it all around, even turn it upside down and it still worked. So I'm impressed with the quality as well. It's relatively easy to use once you figure out how to turn it on (hold the volume button for 3 seconds, as noted in the manual). The sound is pretty good quality—not necessarily the best speaker quality ever, but definitely good enough to enjoy, and it gets decently loud as well.

We had a bunch of children’s story and music CD’s from when my older kids were little. We wanted something to use for quiet time that our little guy could use. I love it because he can choose from his CD case or I can put stories on via Bluetooth from my phone. It can also Bluetooth out to his headphones so he can listen to his CD’s on them . It’s very portable and he likes to pop the CD’s in, return the player to his bookcase and then use the remote control. The sound is good but the volume doesn’t go super loud which is perfect for a kid’s room. We liked it so much I bought another one for my bedroom for my CD collection which had been gathering dust since our old stereo finally died.
