It works okay. I used it on a small tile installation. The cut line is not super clean.

I just used it for a 2000 sq ft floor and it worked great. I have spent more for a way worse time cutter that I returned. I used it to cut 12x24 tile and this cutter works great glad to have it in my tools.

I've used a number of different tile cutters and tile saws. There's a lot to like about this cutter. It's easier to assemble than comparable saws I've used. The breaking action is smooth and didn't get in the way of scoring. It creates a reliably clean cut. Like any tool, you need to learn some skill to get the best results. But with this cutter, you'll spend more time honing skill and less time fighting the tool. The instructions aren't perfectly accurate, but close enough that you can figure them out without any stress or hassle. My biggest gripe is the repeat cut stop takes a bit of fiddling to get perfectly square, and you have to go up to this oversized beast to be able have a 12" crosscut capacity. I don't understand why time saws only advertise rip capacity and never have a proportion cross cut capacity. But it's industry wide and not just this tool.Overall, I think it's a consistent and easy to use tool. I can recommend this over many other options.

The tool did what I needed , to cut addition ceramic tile for my bathroom under a vanity that I was replacing. It was also able to cut glass wall tile, not perfect. But it did a fine job, only edges that was to the edge of the wall or mirror. Initially I had no plans on purchasing glass tile or able to cut glass tile. But I was pleased with the final results of both the floor tile and glass wall tile. From a small project just doing floor tile to allowing me to upgrade to do wall glass tile in my bathroom. Recommend to do a few practice cuts on scrape tiles. I also watched a few u-tube videos on using this type of tool. Easy to use, and well worth the cost.

I wish I had bought this years ago! This machine is exactly what I needed and delivered the second day when I needed it. I had to install five hundred pieces of 12"x36" ceramic tiles, and this tool allows me to cut tiles perfectly every time. I couldn't be more impressed with its sturdiness and durability. And it’s not heavy at all, it is portable comes with wheels so I can take it anywhere by single hand.

Used for tiling with subway format tiles. I do a large amount of tiling using wet saws and scoring cutters like this one. I have a 24" QEP and bought this because the smaller size would be easier to manage. Built every bit as well as the QEP. Slid easily on the two rails, carbide cutter wheel scored my tiles perfectly, and was a great value. One note is that the carbide wheels are smaller in diameter than other comparable tile cutters.

I loved how easy it was to cut tile. I watched a couple of videos and then practiced on a sample sheet of mesh backed tile. I used this to renovate a half bathroom for a fraction of the contractor cost. It works to score and snap tile that is a mix of octagons and diamonds. With my layout, I just cut the octagons. One trick to using it for such small tiles. Get a thin (1/4”) piece of wood to put under the pad that pushes down to snap the tile. Helps get a clean snap for smaller tiles.

My unit arrived damaged, but I couldn't afford the time to return it and wait for the replacement, so i used it with a big dent in the metal side of the base platform. I am not sure it that effected the performance of my unit or not.But it didn't work very well. I wasted a few 24" x 48" floor tiles ($30+ each tile) trying to get a straight cut along the long side of the tile. the ridge along the center of the metal base doesn't appear to be level and straight. And the bar that guides the cutter wheel appears to bend appreciably in the vertical direction while trying to score the tile prior to snapping it. As you try to score the tile from one end to the other, it feels like the cutter wheel is rolling on a roller coaster track. I think that lack of pressure in the middle of the score line is why the tile doesn't snap reliably along that score line. Anyway, you end up throwing away a lot of mis-cracked tiles if you can't fix them with a stone saw.I am quite disappointed. I would try to return it to Amazon, but since I was under a time constraint and had to try and use this tool, I don't feel right trying to return it. But I would definitely not buy it again!!
