This is a well made product with a competitive price. Over the last few years I've made a concerted effort to buy products that are NOT made in China for varying reasons. Tiffen makes a product that is every bit as cost competitive as the clones made in China and the "name brands" that have now outsourced there as well. I will be buying all of my filters from Tiffen from now on .. unless of course they decide to outsource.

I've purchased a few of these for my various lenses. They work great and provide good protection for the lenses. Excellent deal at under ten bucks.

The filter offers an excellent combination of build quality, slim design, and reliable UV protection at a reasonable price. Whether you’re a beginner looking to safeguard your lens or a seasoned photographer seeking a straightforward filter to cut haze, this Tiffen model is a dependable pick. It’s not a specialty filter that dramatically alters your photos, but it excels at what it’s designed for—providing basic image enhancement and peace of mind.

I love this product, I feel comfortable that my lens is protected when shooting outside, it is barely noticeable regarding the sharpness of the subjects in a picture. You can notice it when you go really close in the post editing. The one thing that has me concerned is a little rattling, like if the glass were loose, it doesn’t affect the image but it is kind of annoying after a while.

Tiffin makes really good filters. I rather go with them than an unknown product. Having correct filters can really enhance your photo

Tiffen have been making filters for a long time. Had just bought a new camera/lens (after 6 removable-lens bodies and about 20 lenses (after 3 film bodies and 8 lenses before that)) and all have had a filter in front to protect the front element. A lot of them have been Tiffen filters, as it's a name to trust. Optically clean and built tight to resist dust intrusion.

Fits perfectly on the shallow front portion of the just as tiny Nikon Z 16-50 mm DX lens. This is the smallest filter I own, but it’s a mighty little one. It’s bright and clear as well as UV filtering and there are no pits or aberrations in the glass. It screws on and off easily and I’ll be keeping it on the front of my lens as extra insurance that I don’t scratch the lens element inadvertently.

I've been using the Tiffen 67UVP 67mm UV Protection Filter for a few months now, and I'm really impressed with it. Here's why I think it's a great choice for anyone looking for a lens protector:Protection First and ForemostThe primary function of a UV filter is to shield your valuable camera lens from scratches, dust, and fingerprints. The Tiffen 67UVP does this admirably. It's well-built with a scratch-resistant surface and a tight-fitting metal ring that minimizes the chance of the filter falling off accidentally.Double Duty: UV Protection and Clear ImagesWhile the UV protection is a bonus, the filter doesn't affect the image quality in any noticeable way. There's no color cast or softening, and it doesn't introduce any vignetting (dark corners) even on wide-angle lenses. This makes it a great option for keeping on your lens at all times for peace of mind.Affordable ProtectionTiffen UV filters are known for being well-priced, and the 67UVP is no exception. For around $10 to $20, you're getting a high-quality filter from a reputable brand that will last for years.Overall, I highly recommend the Tiffen 67UVP 67mm UV Protection Filter. It's an affordable way to safeguard your investment and keep your lens looking its best. Here are some additional points to consider:Some photographers argue that UV filters can very slightly reduce image quality. In my experience, this is negligible and far outweighed by the protection benefits. If you're mostly shooting indoors or in good lighting conditions, a UV filter may not be necessary. However, it's still a good idea to have one on hand for situations where dust or scratches are a concern.
