Tiffen filters are great. This one was. Fine but not new. The package was not sealed and there was a finger print which cleaned up ok.

I bought this basically to protect the lens that I purchased and it seems to work perfectly well it has a nice clear glass and is not affect the image quality from the lens. It is reasonably priced and fits perfectly so I have no complaints overall it seems to be a very nice filter for the price.

I have many lenses and after a while buying the more expensive ones lens protectors seems a waste, true some my say it’s unbreakable or shatter resistant, but if your camera takes a tumble like that, a more expensive protector will not save your camera’s body or internal optical workings from getting damaged.That’s why I went with this product, it’s clear with no visible distortion, it fits the lens, gives it protection from fingerprints, ocean salts, the minor scrapes and if it does crack, it’s a cheap replacement.

Bought a new lens and wanted to protect the glass. Bought this and it's perfect. Threaded perfectly, secures tight, and keeps my glass safe. Lower price than most also, which is nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Acheté pour protéger mon objectif 24-85 mm Nikkor, j'en suis content. Le filtre remplit parfaitement son rôle. Il me reste à le tester à fond pour voir s'il n'y a pas de perte de luminosité ou d'influence sur la prise de vue, mais j'en doute.
