My grown dog, feral cat, and puppy couldn't handle us removing ticks from them. This was a game changer and I strongly recommend any outdoor pet parent, or anyone in a tick area, buy these. They're inexpensive and durable, and make the tick removal process really simple and pain-free. I can't say enough how helpful this was two dogs and a cat that wouldn't let us remove the ticks - this was a miracle.

Unfortunately, living in the South, this tool is a bit of a necessity. I've plucked at least a dozen ticks off myself and the kids with it. The additional size options do come in handy. Overall, well worth the money.

I was trying to buy the Tick Tornado but somehow ended up with these. They are basically like a tiny, plastic claw hammer. You get the claw under the tick's body and pry upward to get it to release. Used once on the dog and once on myself. The Tornado worked better in my opinion but this still works without killing the tick and leaving parts of inside you or your dog. We have them at home and in both of the cars because if you have a dog and you hike, the ticks are inevitable.

Love this product and it's very inexpensive! I live in a wooded area and my one dog seems to always bring home a tick home once a month. Luckily most aren't buried in her skin just on top. BUT when she does have some buried in her skin I grab one of these and works easy and well. My dog does a lot better with these and the head of the tick actually comes out instead of using a tweezers like I used to and chance getting the head stuck in my dogs skin (which is bad).Recently my 5 month had the smallest tick on the back of his ear I added diluted lavender on toilet paper dabbed the tick then used the smallest tool and after a few tries got the nasty tick out including the head.Deff recommend.

This hock tick remover really works on the smallest lave to larger ticks. The slits are sharp to get close to the skin and come together to fine in to capture the smallest tick. This brand is based on research and engineered to be fit for purpose.A previous tick remover I bought was a poor imitation of this and did not work especially on smaller ticks.

Our dogs spend a good amount of the warm months tromping in the brush around our house. So of course they get ticks. These little tools make removing the ticks a snap!

This is a great tool to have when you need it. My husband spent 35 minutes trying to remove a tick from my neck, just using ordinary tweezers. It was a mess. After that fiasco, I bought this kit for my granddaughter when she Hiked the Long Trail in Vermont. She had 2 ticks, nearly embedded before she found them. She said this tool was a great gift and made removal easy and painless. ( a tic needs to be embedded for 24-32 hours before it will transmit Lyme disease ). Definitely recommend

I have a few different tick removal kits but I would say this is probably the easiest one of them all to use and recently just used it on my dog. Easier than the pointy tips tweezers.

Actually watched a retired nurse use the smallest sized tick remover to successfully and easily remove a tick from her husband’s foot after a hike though the rainforest in CAmerica! Was extremely to have purchased the kit before the trip :)

These tick remover tools are the best tools to use to remove ticks quickly and easily! We moved to a new house in Arizona that we found out had quite the tick infestation in the backyard, we would find at least one or two ticks on our dog every few days. Before purchasing these tools, we used tweezers to remove the ticks, but using tweezers poses the risk of either 1. Not being guaranteed to remove the whole tick/head and all or 2. Accidentally squishing/popping an engorged tick, causing potential regurgitation back into the wound. With these tools however, you are guaranteed to remove the tick/head and all every time! This pack comes with three different sizes, which is so important to be able to remove any size/stage of tick you may encounter. You just slide the little fork end under the tick, making sure it's slid all the way to the back of the forked end of the tool, then pull up until the tick pops off! Usually the little forked end will hold onto the pesky little blood sucker so he can't crawl away and you can dispose of him properly. We have a small jar filled with rubbing alcohol that we drop the ticks into in order to ensure their death so that they don't just end up on someone else. Really tiny ones might be able to slip out from the forked tool, we had one do that, so be ready. We also had one really engorged one that was too big for the tool to keep a hold of it and it flew off when it popped off of the dog and landed on the floor, so also be prepared for that possible scenario. Those have been the only two cases for us though, every single other time we have used these tools the tick stayed stuck firmly in the fork side of the tool until we scraped them off into the jar of alcohol. I highly recommend these tick remover tools! I'm about to purchase a second pack to leave in the car so I have one in there at all times and one at home at all times. If you choose to buy different tick tools, just make sure you don't buy the kind that says you're supposed to twist it to remove the tick, twisting risks squishing and/or not getting the whole tick including the head.
