I was scared to buy it seeing other reviewing but thankfully mine just has a few scratches and works perfectly! It also came with the cover case and yeah great deal! Just need 4 AAA batteries on hand !

I ordered this calculator for my son's start of school as he is a sophomore. The calculator is like brand new and had a great school bus yellow case. Very satisfied! Thank you.

The calculator serves its purpose but was missing the protector that is intended to slide over the top to protect the screen/buttons during travel and slide behind it while it is being used. I was expecting to receive the entire package, including the protective cover. Now the data lists I have stored for my statistics course get deleted or changed when it is in my book bag because it doesn’t have the protective cover intended to prevent that from happening. Imagine having your cell-phone “pocket dial” or “pocket text” when you’re not using it. Same idea. I literally have to carry my calculator separately out of my bag if I don’t want to lose any of my work.

I had a TI 83 plus for about fifteen years, got me through Calculus one, and I never replaced it because I loved that doggone thing. If finally died, owing me not a penny. It served me well. I got this new one and I really appreciate the additional amenities, especially since the old virtues are undiminished. The TI 84 is the the workhorse of the industry. Faithful, reliable, beloved.

Great calculator. Just like his old one, the back does come off and Snap-on to the front for protection when carrying so I ordered a case separately that we ended up not needing to use. It is battery operated not solar or plug-in though it does come with the USB cord for you to download things

My daughter needed this for school, I was shocked on the price but apparently this is the price range for these. This is well made, I would not recommend buying these used, it's just too expensive to buy used without warranty. This is well made compared to another one that I had bought before that didn't last long, even a press of any button you'll see the quality of how well made this is.

Helps so much with my math class in college. Just wish it would have come with a manual on how to use it.
