whisper quiet and keeps my AMD Ryzen 9 5950X nice and cool even when overclocked and running games in ultra settings. I can't speak to the integrated graphics as I have a dedicated Radeon 7800XT GPU but this item was affordable, easy to assemble and works great.

Whether you go air or liquid cooling really depends on the power draw of your CPU, as well as the type of case you have. That said, for the 9800X3D in particular, this cooler does very well, so long as your case airflow is also good. This is a great option for full-tower builds in pure function sense, or if you like the peace-of-mind that air coolers provide in that they do not have any real risk of failure. If you have a 9800X3D, get this instead of the more expensive AIO coolers. It'll last longer, isn't particularly loud, and is much more affordable.Cooling performance under load for me, with an antec flux pro case, is about 65-70C tops, which is well under the maximum safe temps for a 9800X3D. Being an air cooler, it will require a more spacious case, and installation might be somewhat tricky, but it does the job with no frills, no unnecessary bells and whistles, and no ridiculously inflated price tag. If you're like me and prefer function over form in all ways, this cooler will serve you well should your CPU pair well with it. For more power-hungry CPU's, an AIO might be a better option, but this and the 9800X3D are like a horse and carriage.

Been on my CPU since March 2023 (almost 2 years at time of writing) and going strong. I overclock my CPU quite a bit, so it's important to have a reliable and efficient cooler. This has been doing the job wonderfully. Love how quiet it is. And phenomenal price point (I was a bit surprised the price hasn't come down from when I purchased 2 years ago, but I guess it really still does stack up incredibly well today).Only reason to not get this is if it won't fit your case, so check that ahead of time, but this one works perfect in my atx mid size tower. (It's a bit slimmer than some other coolers, I've seen)

I just finished installing the Thermalright PS120SE CPU Air Cooler and I’m honestly really impressed. Let me start by saying the shipping was incredibly fast. I ordered it, and within no time, it was on my doorstep, ready to install. The packaging was secure, and everything came in perfect condition. The setup process was a breeze. The instructions were clear, simple, and well-organized—so easy, in fact, that even my younger brother, who isn’t as into PC building as I am, helped me get it installed. He had his side of the cooler mounted and plugged in faster than me—and I’m supposed to be the PC-building expert! I was still struggling with some cable management, and there he was, grinning like he just won a race. I guess I’m a bit slow when it comes to these things, but hey, it was pretty funny to see him breeze through it. He was so proud, he kept saying, “See, I told you I could do it!” (Cue me silently admitting defeat.)Now, about the cooler itself—this thing is built like a tank. The heatsink is high-quality, and you can really tell it’s engineered for maximum performance. The 7 heat pipes are designed to handle a substantial amount of heat, and coupled with the dual 120mm TL-C12B V2 PWM fans, it provides excellent airflow and keeps my CPU temperatures in check, even during long gaming sessions. The fans are whisper-quiet too, thanks to the S-FDB bearing, which is a nice touch. It doesn't sound like a jet engine, which is a relief! One thing I will mention is that this cooler is pretty hefty, so definitely check your tower dimensions before buying. It’s not the smallest unit, so you’ll want to ensure it will fit in your case—especially if you have a smaller build or a cramped interior. Fortunately, it fit perfectly in mine, but just something to keep in mind!Overall, I’m really happy with the Thermalright PS120SE. It’s high quality, performs like a champ, and the installation was easy enough that even a kid (with a bit of help from his older brother) can do it. If you’re looking for a solid air cooler that handles heat well and isn’t a hassle to set up, this is a great option. Just make sure it’s compatible with your case, and you’ll be good to go!

Actually it's really great cooling even if it were twice the price. I have better temps with this than my wife has with the top-rated Noctua (same chip). That's because this one has a better heat pipe setup than the Noctua. However, the fans on this one are really obnoxious. They have a high pitched whine when they run at 100%. If you have an older case with no wire management and already noisy case fans, you might not notice, but if you've got one of the newer setups that's almost silent, this will stick out like a sore thumb. No big deal if you're on a budget - this is one of the few components that you don't have to pay through the nose to get the best.I ended up swapping out the fans for some Noctuas I had laying around, and now it's nice and quiet, and still cools better than the more expensive one.If you built computers 10 or so years ago you'll remember the leaf spring hold-down CPU coolers that you had to press into the latch with a screwdriver, sweating whether the screwdriver would slip and punch a hole in the motherboard. This one has spring screws, so it's really easy to install without being nervous about breaking stuff. Intel users will need to install a brace on the back side of the motherboard, so this will be very annoying to retrofit to an already-built PC. For AMD you just replace the cooling brackets on the top side of the motherboard.Installing the fans is a royal pain, but that's true of all the side-mount tower style CPU coolers. The wire clips that hold the fans in place love to pop out of the fan while you're trying to slide it into place.BTW, if you care about the LEDs on the fans and your motherboard doesn't have an ARGB header onboard, you'll need to get an ARGB hub. These are not compatible with the non-addressable headers, and the LEDs will not illuminate just off of fan power.
