This is a great little addon for my Android phone. For the same price as my Klein Tools TI250 thermal imager you get so much more - much better resolution, many adjustments, many color options. plus a macro lens with a focal point of around 1.5". This make my Klein TI250 look like a child's toy.The only downside is it will not fit into the USB-C port if you have a shock case installed on your phone. It uses a magnet to stay in place and will just fall out if the case is there. To get around this I used wire clippers and cut away part of the bottom of the protective addon shock case but left the corners intact. With this modification, the case still stays on fine and the InfiRay P2 Pro Thermal Camera fits and stays in place. With this workaround, I am very happy with this camera. The resolution and operation is great. It does wear down your phone battery within a few hours, however. So you need to be mindful of that. There are complains about the Android App that runs the camera in the Android reviews, but I found no trouble with the app - it works great. Maybe they fixed whatever people were complaining about.

I recently tried the InfiRay P2 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera for Android, and I’m impressed by its compact design and affordability. The 256×192 resolution and 25Hz frame rate deliver clear, high-quality images, and the 8mm macro lens is perfect for detailed close-ups, especially for electronics work. The software is easy to use, it’s an excellent value and a great tool for professionals and hobbyists like me.

After buying this I got a new iphone and they switched to a USB-C. Now this doesn't work for my phone. I bought an adapter and updated the app but it still would not work on the new phone. I've sent the company almost ten emails in the last couple weeks trying to find out if there is a specific adapter that works. I have gotten no response from that all. Shady company.

I am very impressed with this mini camera. It works very well and the images are very good. The macro lens is a plus especially if you are troubleshooting electronic equipment. One disadvantage is that it is not compatible with both Android or IOS devices, you have to buy it specifically for the system you are using. Maybe in the future they will make it compatible with both operating systems.

I recently purchased this camera and so far it's been awesome! It's absolutely tiny and comes with a nice storage case that fits the camera and USB-C extension cable. It also includes a macro lens, which is great for close-up work. The app is easy to use and has many color options and settings to configure. The high frame rate and resolution are impressive. The video does appear to stutter periodically but I think this might just be the camera recalibrating. I've used it for electrical work, plumbing, auto repair, and to find air gaps and missing insulation in my home. Overall a solid purchase and a must have tool!!

So I've been using this camera for about a month now working on various PCBs and let me tell you, It blows my other 600$ thermal camera out of the water. The macro lens on the P2 Pro is top notch bar none. The resolution is even more impressive. It's so clear and crisp. I can see right down to the smallest of caps to determine faults. If i could give this 6 stars I would. I even used this the other day on a furnace and it worked brilliantly. The app is quite good. Easy to set up and use and has never given me any problems. It's crazy how small this thing is but even crazier how well it performs. It may be small and compact but its also very durable as i have used it alot in the past month and has not faltered once. Now I understand that its not the cheapest but seriously don't hesitate and just buy it. You wont regret it and more than likely be thinking why have I been using these cameras with crap resolution and terrible functionality. Thanks so much InfiRay. 😃

So for so good. I have only had it a week or so and only been able to play around with it. But it works great and seems to be built well. I can see the water level in a water bottle based on the temp difference. I can see the studs in my wall. Very cool. App works fine and everything seems snappy. The little carrying case it comes with is a nice addition since it's a tiny device. Adds protection and makes it less likely to be lost somewhere. Would buy again based on first impressions.

I know the standalone pro thermal image cams are 2-3x as expensive having the edge with better resolution, but this puts a very powerful nearly pro tool, (accurate enough for most basic needs) in the hands of the consumer with small learning curve. Powered by the iphone, it demonstrates one more feature of the iphone's (and other compatible smartphones') capabilities, and surprising versatility that truly make it a swiss army knife of all trades. I use this for ruling out any leaks in pex tubing used for radiant floor heating. Although, I'm still learning how to fine tune, I was able to visualize every pex pipe buried in concrete and every turn it took from beginning to end. I can see hotspot along the exterior perimeter of my house covered in EIFStucco. I am able to see raccoons scampering along the tops of the fences at night. So much more to discover and reveal, all from a micro attachment with software, like it or not, that has more whistles and bells than I would've expected. One demerit, though, for minimalist directions assuming language barrier.
