Warm & Natural is the finest needle-punched cotton batting! Only 15% of all cotton grown in the USA is the proper length, thickness and color. Out of this 15%, only 5% is clean enough for Warm &Natural! This soft, natural cotton has never been washed or bleached with harsh chemicals. It's kinder to the environment and kinder to your batting. The cotton undergoes a mechanical cleaning process that removes all of the seeds and seed coats along with the majority of leaf and stem remnants. The remaining tiny plant particles lend a special look to crafts like no other and won't harm your quilt. Quilt or tie up to 10" apart! Quilt Warm & Natural right out of the package, as pre-washing is not necessary. Once quilted, machine wash and dry your finished quilt in cold water. 3% shrinkage can be expected in the first wash with cold water. To achieve an antique puckered look use warm water for 5% shrinkage. Warm & Natural won't distort when hanging, hooping or when used in quilt frames. It can be used for both batting and as an exterior craft fabric to create stuffed snowmen and rabbits. FIBER CONTENT: 87.5% Natural Cotton & 12.5% Polypropylene (Scrim).

I have used this brand many times in quilt making. It is very easy to use, launders well and is warm. My concern is the 10 days my Amazon Prime order took to arrive.

I liked this batting so much that I ordered two more. I create a lot of quilts and I donate them to great causes or to family, so I want them to last decades. This batting is woven evenly and consistently throughout-and it’s very warm. I love quilting with it on my long arm machine because it doesn’t give off a lot of lint or create any problems for the machine. The end product looks smooth and even throughout-making my stitches look great. I not only recommend it, I order it over and over.

This has been the perfect batting for me to use in sewing my golf headcovers. Also sew handwarmers with it. Since its dense and not fluffy, it keeps it's shape very well. Adds the perfect amount of thickness I need. Also very warm and no cold air will be getting through it. The price is the cheapest I've seen and usually runs anywhere from $20-$35 depending on the store.

I have used Warm Company Batting in the past and it’s always been top quality batting. In 2012 I made a light weight lap quilt that I use every day, and once a week it goes in the laundry. The batting inside has never thinned, shifted, bunched up or changed in any way.The batting is easy to work with and doesn’t shrink. This batting runs through my sewing machine with ease and doesn’t punch through the fabric like some other batting I have used in the past.I’m really excited to finish my new quilt for my bed. I tend to run hot when I sleep and this cotton batting breath’s better than polyester batting. It’s also not heavy if I need to add an additional blanket for cold winter nights.

I'm making my first quilt... I was going to order poly-fil batting but a friend (and quilting veteran) advised me to buy a small amount of it from Walmart first (partly to practice quilting on and partly to preview the quality)... She told me cotton is the way to go, but I had read that synthetic would be warmer... I got a small amount of synthetic batting and tried to practice with it, and I ended up ordering this Warm company cotton batting for my actual quilt... here's my comparison:Synthetic (NOT this product): The batting thickness was very inconsistent - extremely thin in places (consistent with the reviews) and bunched up where it was folded... this bunching was not fixable. It seemed like poly-fil (like for pillows) had been rolled out into layers and I could very easily rip the batting up into pieces. It was also difficult to cut because of this. The whole sheet was translucent.Warm and Natural (THIS product): This is like a blanket by itself - not translucent, and even thickness throughout. Thin enough to be easy to work with, but dense and obviously very WARM! It would not be possible to rip it in half with my hands, and it cut easily with sheers like any other thick fabric. I am SO GLAD I listened to my friend and got the cotton. It was the same price as the synthetic, easier to work with, and very obviously of a MUCH higher quality.

First, the quality of the blanket is surprising for the price. It is very well made. The size is perfect for my king bed. I also found the weight of the blanket to be very comfortable. In addition, the blanket launders well and it is easy to fold and store. I highly recommend this product and found it to be a great value for the price.

I was very happy when this arrived on my doorstep. I am just learning how to quilt and I ordered this because I read I needed batting. It was bigger than I expected, but I am also not that great at measurements. I am beyond excited to see how my first quilt turns out and am super excited to have it put to use. With this batting, I know it will keep anyone warm. It is a very soft material and I am excited to work with it. It is very lightweight as well which is great!

Great price for a great product; it was the perfect batting for a little boys quilt. It held up well after washing, and was easy to cut and quilt.

Excellent product. Soft and durable . Washes in a quilt just fine. Suitable for handand machine quilting. Wouldn't use any other brand.
