Treatment process: The fabric undergoes Washing, Combing, Mercerizing, and Felting for premium quality.

Washing instructions:

  1. Pre-washing is not required before use.
  2. Avoid using fabric softener to maintain the fabric's natural texture.
  3. It is essential not to use hot water (Above 86°F / 40°C) during washing.
  4. You can tumble dry the fabric on low heat and then let it dry thoroughly in the sun.
  5. When first opened, the fabric may seem thin and not very soft due to compressed packaging. This is an ideal time for quilting. Alternatively, you can allow it to expand for a fluffy and soft appearance.

I find this batting absolutely fine for my quilt making. It is soft, easy to sew and a great price point.

This product is extremely delicate. I laid it out so the wrinkles would begin to release and I’ll say it is very soft, my kids love touching it - much to my horror. The problem is that it tears and sheds very easily. I was pinning the final row on top of it, it snagged the batting, it stretched and tore it. I smushed it back together and I hope it doesn’t show after I get it all quilted tomorrow. I’ll report back if it goes really badly but I wouldn’t buy this batting again. It takes me a minute to get quilts quilted, sometimes I have to move the parts more than once, I need something that won’t fall apart and I’m worried about quilting this.Update: This batting was extremely difficult to pin baste and caused problem after problem when quilting. I kept a lint roller by my side to help control the mess and I still had to take my machine apart 4 times to clean it out. I’m changing my review from 2 stars to 1. Run the other way!!

It is exactly as described by Seller. The color is light yellow, not white but it doesn't matter for my project.It is not very thick batting if you would like to have warmer blanket, you need 2 layer of this batting. But for me it works very well.
