This was my first purchase and first quilt like playmat I've made. I believe I layered the wool 3x and for me THAT was perfect. It had to be cozy enough. Working with it was easy. I took my time layering, cutting, sewing. It folds nice to.I washed it after and like it did say, it will shrink. So I planned my playmat size according to that. I air dried the final finished product.Overall very happy. Very happy to have not gone with polyester cheap fibre stuff but this stuff is good quality.

This stuff is amazing. I wanted to make my daughter a costume for her first world book Day at school. First she asked to be the Grinch which I said yes to. Started researching and too much work. Then she asked to be the Highway Rat. Then I realized that we had been reading a favourite book of mine I read as a child. Owl babies. I used this fabric to make the poncho/dress and the individual feathers. It was a few hours of hard work but a pair of scissors, a hot glue gun and a strong back were worth it to see her reaction. I purchased 2 packets to make the owl. I would definitely use again.
