My current orchestra has chairs that are not compatible with the rock stop that attaches to the leg of the chair, so I found this to use in place of that. It is a beautiful color and has enough friction that my cello isn’t slipping. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but it was a good buy.

I really like this endpin rest. It is a much prettier green than in the picture more of a dark Kelly green. It works perfectly and the cup holds my cello's rubber stopper that I did not want to have to remove (I am personally a bit of a klutz and thought there might be too many casualties if I had a naked metal rod I was waving around...lol). It seems to work just fine on all surfaces. Mainly I play on a carpeted floor, but I did try it out on tile as well as hardwood and it stays in place. Also it is made really well I think I will get years of use out of it. Good job slipstop!!!
