For a toy that a dog is not suppose to tear up. My daughters dog put a hole in it in about 25 minutes.

Completely destroyed after a short play session. Company doesn’t replace these. Been waiting for a LONG time. She’s destroyed 2! A dollar store toy would be a smarter buy.

I ordered two, one for each of my dogs. They were a lot bigger than I expected, I have small dogs. Neither dog likes them. They totally ignore these ducks. However the ducks are well made, sturdy, and very pretty. I just wish my dogs liked them.

My Miniature Schnauzer loved this new toy. After nearly 24 hours of playing with this Mellow Dog "Calming" Duck Dog Toy she managed to un-sew it and remove the supposedly calming quacking squeaker and destroy it. The toy was able to survive and lost no wings, feet, or bill and it didn't get any holes chewed in it. I was amazed to see that she had chewed the sewing thread knot and opened it up along the back seam. I'm going to be able to replace the stuffing and sew it closed without the noisemaker. I think the very nice duck will then be safe from further attack. This was not her first seek and destroy mission on a stuffed noisemaking toy. The description on this one sounded like it would be a safe bet for a successful addition to our pet's toy menagerie but turns out that wasn't the outcome.

I bought three of these - one for each dog in our family. They all split at the seem within one day of opening, the dogs didn’t even play with them and they have holes in them. Not worth it.

This is made well I don’t know about calming because my yorkie wants to play tug a war . She isn’t calm which is ok because she has fun with it
