I have heard this works great for some people. It sounds like a taser and made my dogs want to fight each other. it was sturdy. It charged easily and worked great. Good size and easy to carry on a walk. Works easily.

We had a “soundless” device that worked on our mini schnauzer but did not affect our english springer. This device helped us with his reactive behavior from the first press of a button. Our home (and fur babies) have been calmer thanks to this inexpensive yet effective device. Thank you!!

Battery cover will not come off so that we can insert the batteries. Returning and have to box up the item and take it directly to UPS to return....such a hassle. It took 7 days to receive the order and if I want my money back, have to wait. Cannot keep waiting, hoping the battery cover will come off to insert the batteries and that item will work. Not worth the hassle.

Works good, get the dog attention. After a while of using it, when my dog sees me pick it up, she will stop barking

Noise is not too loud and is not sharp so not hard on dogs’ ears. It breaks concentration and allows you to redirect and positively reward. I always take it to the dog park with me. If dogs start getting too focused on each other I can do a short blast and give enough time to redirect my dog’s attention and also breaks up the tension/focus for the group. It gives me peace of mind while walking or visiting new dogs because I have confidence I can break up an early negative interaction without using my hands. My dog knows the sound now and just comes running to me when he hears it, which is also valuable in ensuring his safety.

My two dogs would not stop barking every time we went into a park for our daily walks. This was used once and they stopped immediately. What a fantastic product. I also use it on occasions if my larger dog takes a dislike to another dog to stop further aggression.

This is my second review for Doggie Don't because it is such a wonderful device that actually works. The first time I talked about how it worked with my dog, Simon. Now I'll tell you about how well it works with my roommate's dog, Willow. Sheis a Chihuahua Yorkie mix that would bark at everything. And I do mean everything!! If company would come over, it was hard to carry on a conversation because she kept barking, even if she had met this person before. I love the sound of thunderstorms, but I couldn’t hear or enjoy them anymore because Willow would not stop barking. All that has changed, thanks to Doggie Don't! My roommate recently had a nurse come by to check on his health. Willow started barking when the nurse knocked on the door and didn't stop. I grabbed Doggie Don't, said Hush in a calm voice and she stopped barking. When the nurse got up to take my roommate's vitals, Willow started barking. I pressed the button on Doggie Don't and said hush, Willow was silent the rest of the time. Another time, I had the device because I

My dog loves to bark more than she likes to eat. She even barks at any animal she sees on TV. Horses, cows, cats, dogs, even Scooby-Doo, there's nothing she won't bark at. She is also terrified of thunder, so I thought there was a chance for this.I charged it, turned on the TV and waited for a dog food commercial. She began growling and I said "No bark!" She barked, I hit the button. The sound is very loud, like a tazer from a cop show. It didn't hurt my ears, but Carly stopped barking instantly and raced to my lap for safety. We watched cute animal videos the rest of the evening. Silence.Evening 2: She was quiet through most of the animal focused commercials, but then gave a bark. I was ready and got the same result.Day 3: She is not taking any chances. She won't bark inside the house at all. She saw a squirrel outside, whined by didn't bark to be let out. As soon as the door was open, she was out like a shot, barking her head off.I am so thrilled! All I was hoping for was to watch TV in peace, but she is a different dog. Because she was the ringleader in barking, the other dogs bark less too. This probably won't be magic for every dog, but if your dog hates lound noises, give it a try.

I had to write a review about this device, because I am truly amazed at how quickly and effectively it has worked for correcting our two large dog’s (Shepherd & Pyrenees mixes) irritating barking, both inside and outside of the house. We’ve tried several different training methods to try and stop the barking, but nothing worked long term. We’ve had the DDD for about 3-4 weeks now and it has worked from the very first time we used it, though we honestly don’t need to use it often at all anymore, as they now will control themselves and not even begin barking (only some light grumbling) or will listen the very first time they’re told “no barking”. This is such an incredible change! Our Shepherd would quite literally bark at every person and/or dog that walked by. And as we live on a road that’s very busy with foot traffic/dog walking, as well as have a pretty busy alley behind our house, the barking was constant, very loud and irritating, as our Pyrenees would often chime in, and very difficult to stop. Now we have peace and quiet back in our home and yard, and it’s wonderful!! I had my doubts the DDD would work, as we’ve shaken marbles in a container before, which was only a temporary fix, but it’s very clear that this device is a really effective one for our dogs and I couldn’t be happier that I found it.

Quite honestly I'm not sure, I have used it every time she barks, she appears to be surprised, I also say NO as I use, if she is in full bark mode it takes a couple of times to get her attention and then she will most often stop. But if I'm not around she still barks. Generally I think she is barking less.

It is working!!! Took a few weeks but he now understands to be quiet, I only have to show him the doggie don't and he runs away and quickly quietens down. So happy that something actually works, highly recommend.

This is a game-changer! My 9-week-old Pomeranian would not respond to positive reinforcement when it came to her whining/attention barking. After playtime and cuddles, I'd put her back in her playpen and the loud barking and whining would commence. I tried saying "Quiet" and rewarding her with treats when she obeyed, but it was short-lived. This little gadget came a day early and I was more than excited –– and skeptical. To test it out, I cuddled her for a bit and then put her back in her playpen. After I walked away she started to bark and whine. I said, "Quiet" and she continued. I quickly pressed this device and said "Quiet" again. Her ears perked up and she got as silent as a mouse. I said, "Good girl!" and a couple of minutes later cuddled with her again. I put her back in her playpen and not a peep! This was the first use of the device and it was a success. She normally is a loud and incessant barker. She barely whimpered.Ten minutes later I was playing with her sister and she wanted attention so she barked once (a HUGE improvement) and I said "Quiet." She barked lightly and I pressed the device and said "Quiet." Not a peep!Later, I picked her up again and cuddled a bit, then put her back in her playpen. Not a peep! Complete silence (whereas before she'd wine and bark loudly for at least a minute). If your dog does not respond to positive reinforcement I definitely recommend this device. Use short bursts, not lengthy ones ... as a quick click is all that was needed for my pup. The goal is to get her to respond to your voice and use the device less.NOTE: This worked on one pup. My other one, (same age/litter) doesn't seem to respond as well to it. I will see if she improves. But for the first one, the major attention/whining barker, this is a game-changer.UPDATE: Day 2 and no more whining/attention-seeking barking fits from the main little one. She barked a quick "Woof" (I guess she forgot) that night I got this, but quickly caught herself. My second Pom is taking longer to catch on. I have to use it more often. I press it as she is barking, then tell her "Quiet." She simmers down and whimpers more instead. Hopefully, this will work with her too. However, I am now pleasantly sleeping through the night. Finally waking up feeling rested after a long and uninterrupted sleep! Forget those stupid YouTube videos that take weeks to train a dog not to attention bark and whine -- so useless. I am so glad I found this device! Definitely worth every penny and my sanity.UPDATE: So, this works amazing for one dog and not so well for the other (same age/same litter). The first dog is virtually silent re: Aggressive/Whining Barking. The second starts her bark fest each morning as soon as she hears my feet hit the floor. I have to push this a number of times while she barking for her to settle into a quiet whine. So I am going to order an Ultrasonic Bark device for her. She eventually settles but it takes way too long, and too many alerts.NOTE: I purchased the Ultrasonic Bark device (which humans can't hear) and my 2nd pup finally shut her mouth! I really like this device, but prefer something silent for traveling and when the pups are out with me running errands. I can use the silent device in more situations, instead of just at home (with this device because it's loud). The fact that we can hear this device is the only con. Otherwise, it works great. However, the discomfort associated with the Ultrasonic barking device is more motivation for some dogs who ignore commands.
