Wanted a carpet rake....something that would bring back a little life to my carpet. With each swipe across my carpet, the handle would come unscrewed. Not as durable as I needed it to be.

Got the tool, seemed promising. Easy to assemble. However, the handle does not have the structural strength to hold up to use. About 10 minutes into using, the handle buckled, metal bent, tried to straighten out, but all leverage was lost and snapped off into screw in, broke at the half way point. Needs a stronger handle.

Everything I’d hoped for. Product is easy to assemble, feels solid, revives carpet even better than I’d expected (see pic), is fun to use (I use it while watching tv and swear it’s therapeutic), and (as an unexpected bonus) makes the carpet feel much better underfoot (who knew?). Highly recommended.

The brush seems to improve the carpet matting, although after many uses of the tool the carpet is still not completely unmatted. The handle, though, is too flimsy. After less than ten pulls on the tool the handle bent in half, requiring me to hold the brush in my two hands. Additionally, the manufacturer did not use a standard thread to attach the handle to the brush, so the other handles I have could not be used. Removing the handle from the brush actually helped me get the tool into some tighter spots around furniture, but it is not an ideal situation to be forced into.
