Our tiny Yorkie has slept all night from her first day with us and we love this dog. Just have to charge it everyday but does what it says

I got this for my special needs grandson to help him with sleeping since he wants to sleep with his parents. We were hoping the breathing sounds and the heartbeat sounds would help him sleep in his own bed. It did not help but he loves it!

Please look at the one star reviews. This item is dangerous. I bought it and as soon as it came in, I went ahead and charged it up.I then turned it on to test all three functions, thankfully I had the insight to do this separate from my puppy. In just a few minutes, I could smell something that smelled like melting plastic. This was in the living room, and I was in the kitchen.Oh my goodness it was so hot. I keep thinking what if I had set this down by my puppy and gone to bed. 😱

It’s rechargeable! I’m so excited. No more buying expensive heat packs. The all in one unit does the heartbeat, warmth and breathing and it is charged with one cord. Puppies love it and the cover is washable

I bought this dog for my new mini daschund, she hasn’t been sleeping well, crying all the time when I would put her in the crate for the night. Since I put this in with her she completely stopped crying, not even a whimper! I love the three different features, great product! One of the features stopped working, I contacted the company & they immediately sent me out another one. Great customer service, I highly recommend them, two thumbs up! 👍👍

10 week old puppy. He did great with the crate and puppy pin with his siblings, so we got home the same thing. After one night of absolutely no sleep and laying beside the cage I decided to give this a shot. It's just $30 and even if it doesn't calm him it would be a nice, cute chew toy. Well I am THOROUGHLY impressed. I got sleep last night with no howling. Some minor whining, to be expected 4 days after being taken from your siblings. This has been GREAT

We picked up one of these for our new puppy before she joined our family. My wife fell in love with it, and is using it with one of our cats, so I bought another one, and sent it to our breeder so she could immerse it in mommy and litter mate smells. That made a HUGE impact on our new little girl. There are quite a few toys like this out there, including what I think is the original, the Snuggle Puppy. However, I think what makes the Goopow (where do these companies come up with their names?) puppy toy is the only one I can find that combines a heartbeat, a warmer AND a breathing simulator, all in the same device, and all powered by a rechargeable battery. The Snuggle Puppy uses one time expendable heat packs that have to be replaced and thrown away after every use. Not as good.It also doesn't have a breathing feature. The breathing actually inflates a bladder that not only makes a breathing sound, but it moves in and out. The breather is only on the left side, so you'll want to keep that in mind.We found the heating function gave off a bit of a smell at first, like many electric heating devices. The smell eventually went away, but if it bothers you, I'd recommend turning on the heat when your pup doesn't have/need the toy, to accelerate this "off gassing" period. This toy is just about the size of our pup, and from the moment we gave it to her, she just snuggled up to it, and fell asleep. Mission Accomplished!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

First - the only issue I would suggest be improved with this item is this: Where the USB cord plugs into the belly, there are 3 press on/press off buttons that control the heartbeat/breath/heat. Over time of course a regular user would know which is which, but the corresponding symbols are a barely raised white on white plastic. I had to twist and turn in the light to figure out which one did what. Particularly for visually impaired or elderly, this could be frustrating.I would NOT classify this as a toy.Now to all the good! I bought this item because I do a lot of kitten rescue. Sure it would be better if this was a mama kitten and purred as well, but I have a workaround for that in asking my smart speaker to play "cat purring noise".The first use, I will advise the heat feature does give off a noticeable chemical smell. It was easy to worry was it getting too hot or going to catch fire, but it wasn't and it didn't. Still like anything with a "heat" feature, I would monitor it and even with a baby animal, I don't know that I'd leave it on heat for long and probably not unsupervised. Maybe once I felt assured, but you know you can't be too cautious. The velcro that goes over the control panel is STRONG. Once you do it up, I don't think it would be a worry of a young animal getting it undone. This is a wonderful product and as someone who has done rescue for a while now, I know it's going to be useful. I feel that so strongly that I am going to be buying a few more to donate to the shelters and rescues that I work with. It's just one more step in getting a frightened animal calmed down and on their way to their next best forever home.Thank you for making such a valuable product.
