I was impressed by the build of the product. Needed something for my trailer, but this was marine quality, not the RV level.

I purchased 2 of these with the intent to install them into a living quarters horse trailer I had for sale. The trailer sold before I received them. I looked at them upon arrival and definitely would not be disappointed using these lights.

Good quality lamp and bright, was expecting less for the price. Bought three of these to replace 30 year old plastic lamps on my boat. Sadly the night light does not function on one of the three, however the main lamp still works great. For me not worth the hassle to return.

My RV did not have reading lights in the bedroom, just some household style light fixtures (wall sconces). Those needed the old 12 volt light bulb with an Edison base (like household light bulbs), which aren't in my local stores. I decided to get these reading lights to replace the sconces, and I love them. They installed easily, and I gained an extra nightlight with the blue circle around the power button that lights up (it can be turned off it it is too bright). Good reading lights, easy to use, well made, and they look good.

Bought two of these lights for reading lights for a RV renovation I was doing. I was very impressed with them. They are very sturdy and of excellent quality. Their dimming feature works great. Provides excellent light for reading. They are somewhat expensive but once you see the quality of them you’ll understand why.

This is a nice light, and looks great too. It has a small footprint and I had to buy the additional mounting plates to adequately cover existing holes. The USB port works fine for charging my phone. This light is plenty bright enough for nighttime reading. I do wish that it had a greater dimming range. The brightest setting is fine, but I wish it could get even dimmer at the low end. One question that I asked about this light before I bought it (which went unanswered) was about the current draw when on standby. The control is touch sensitive and so obviously used some current even when "off" so that it can sense when you touch it. When boondocking in my trailer, power consumption can be critical and so I wanted to be sure there wasn't much when on standby. No one knew the answer, so I measured it myself after receiving the light. Here are the results: standby current: 8.0ma (0.102 watts at 12.7v). Nightlight (blue light) current: 16.4ma (0.208 watts at 12.7v). Light at full brightness: 158ma (2.007 watts at 12.7v). I know the description says these are 3 watt lamps. I measured less, which is fine for me. The less the better. Also, the 8ma standby current is negligible, so I'm a happy camper (literally).

For a full year, I'd put up with the default LED lights that came with my camper. But those lamps were excessively bright for the location, and they cast an uncomfortably cold, intense, white beam that could not be moderated. So I was delighted to find this replacement! I’ve now swapped out three original lights for this model. They look great and work perfectly, as described. These lovely shaded lamps cast a warm glow and dim down beautifully. They are plenty bright for reading in a dark camper (max. 173 lumens) and they can dim down for a mellow “candlelight” effect. I’m not inclined to keep the blue-ring night light on in the dark, but it can easily be tapped to “off." As other reviewers have noted, the materials are solid, the build quality is excellent, and the installation simple (you might need to switch wires if you get the polarity wrong on the first try, but don’t worry…no harm done). Highly recommended!

For boaters looking for quality lighting that truly stands out this is the line of lights for you.I did not choose these specific lights for reading but rather to create a softer look in my aft head and shower area. This is not what i expected in purchasing marine lighting on line. Packaging, product quality, super easy to install AND affordable. Try finding lights like this at a marine store for the price.I will be replacing and adding more of this product through out my boat and i can t wait to show my fellow sailors.5 stars all around.

I thought this was a nice little light, once I got it installed on my boat. It looks good and gives off a reasonable amount of light for a little LED reading light. I'm using 2 of them in my v-berth. There are a couple potential problems you should be aware of. First of all, like any LED light, you must connect the positive light wire to the positive boat wire. Otherwise, it will not work. Also, there is no room in the base of the light to hide the excess wires. In a boat, you either have to cram the excess wires into the bulkhead, or you need to fabricate some sort of riser between the light base and the bulkhead to hide the excess wires. Finally, it is not at all obvious to me if you can easily replace a burned out bulb in one of these reading lights. I guess I'll find out some day. For now, they are working just fine.

Very neat 12v lights for the interior wall in our barge. Just the size we were looking for (quite small). I found them very easy to install. The dimmer function takes a bit of practice, but once you’ve got the hang of it - it’s great.Very rapid delivery and all round good service, many thanks.

Purchased one of these lights to see how we liked them. We're updating all the lighting in our sailboat. Installed the first light. Looks and works great. My only concern is that these are not the variety that allow you to change the "bulb". Oh well, they last @30,000 hours. We ordered an additional five to complete the change out of the salon and galley. Long story short four of the five were inoperable straight out of the box. I spent half a day removing the old lights and installing the new only to have to then remove the new and reinstall the old. We've decided to give this one more go. If any of the replacements are inoperable we'll be forced to pull everything and start over. More to follow.Update - over dinner a fellow cruiser asked if I had tried reversing the wires which I had not. Today I received the replacement lights but before I broke into those I wanted to test that suggestion with the original "failed" lights. In every case the wiring was reversed on the lights. I'm happy now with the outcome. Now we see how they hold up to the marine environment.
