These tubes are easy to put together and my dwarf hamster can get through them easily. Keep in mind they are probably too big for a Syrian hamster to use. My dwarf hamster also uses them as a toilet. They aren't the easiest to clean. I take them apart and soak them in hot water with some around every two weeks.

I only took a star off becuz they were VERY hard to put together and even harder to connect to our dwarf hamsters cage. But Pichu loves her tunnel ladder to go from her home cage to her "play pen". We set them up the day we got them and they have stayed together ever since! She uses her tunnel multiple times a day and night! 4 stars for me!

The set is fine. It fits with pieces I already have. The only slight disappointment is that the tee fitting has a shorter turn radius than the elbows, so you can't substitute one for the other. Not really a problem but as a plumber, I expected it to be like plumbing fittings.

The are the exact same diameter as the popular systems used in title - but the mating system is different. It looks like they were trying to emulate the lip on the habitrail system, but made it a little but too long. It is possible to use the mating rings that came with the item to connect to the other systems, but the connection is loose and not structurally rigid. The connections are free to rotate about the circular axis - which means a b unch of twists and turns will not hold their shape if mating with the more popular systems.The good thing about these is that they are inexpensive and the quality is about the same as the Tiny Tales and SAM tubes. Habitrail and Kaytee are a quarter step above these and the mentioned two. Better made, but still in the same class.They got the diameter and functionality right - but it's infuriating that they made it incompatible with the other systems that are all compatible with each other. These could probably be made compatible by sanding down the ends of the tubes, but then the work pout in would just make it more worthwhile to buy one of the other brands. I really wanted to like these tubes because they offer some different sizes than the others.The incompatibility is a deal breaker and this is going back
