This hide out was brought for my daughters guinea pigs, they love it they are always running in and out of them, and when my daughter goes to clean their enclosure they start making noises until the hide out is placed back in. These are very easy to clean we toss them in the wash.

This guinea pig hideouts disappointed me. I already got a hideout similar to this and our guinea pig loves it, but this one’s out of the 3 he may be able to use just 2 of them cause the other one is way to small it'll probably be good for a hamster, they’re not sturdy either.

They are mis-shapen, sewn poorly, and not asymmetrical. The wire in the tunnel is sicking out the bottom and I just took it out of the package. You get 3 pieces for $25. I wasnt expecting excellence but something safe and playable would've been great!

This set looks like the pictures so it’s a nice set for male or female guinea pigs. The fleece is soft both inside and out. The house sizes listed are accurate, so the smaller one is just barely big enough for one of my female guinea pigs. Technically 2 guinea pigs could fit in the larger house if they like to snuggle. The cushion is basically a fluffy pillow, which my cavies weren’t too crazy about. They prefer a mat to a cushion but that’s just them. The tunnel quality is decent but on one side the curtain spacing is much further apart, so it’s not much of a curtain. It’s still functional but the tunnel isn’t as cozy as it would be if the curtain were tighter. Overall this is a good set and the quality is ok but not as good as other guinea pig houses I have. Thus why I took off a star.

my piggies LOVE the tunnel. They like to stay on the top of the cubbies. These wash very nice, and retain their shape.

There are 3 individual hideys in this set, all with the same decoratively patterned fabric. There could be a number of such theme options at any time, but the one I had picked for this review was a blueish grey color with a star pattern. All three hideys have a thin slip-resistant fabric bottom. One hidey is a tunnel with shredded curtain strands hanging down over the openings. The other two hideys are houses with just a couple minor differences between them. The stitching throughout all pieces looks good, too, except for the one spot shown in my photos here. I don't think it's actually loose and at risk to unravel, though. It looks to me like it's just a tangled excess thread tail. So it looks slightly sloppy, but that's all it is.This fabric is soft and fuzzy to touch, but not shaggy. There is also likely to be some form of memory foam sewn-in to the fabric walls, as once these hideys have been opened and set up, they all retain thier general form. The tunnel has a thin, soft, fabric layer sewn onto the interior floor, on top of the slip-resistant bottom. The other two hideys do not have a sewn-in fabric floor, but they do have matching, size fitted, removeable and washable, padded inserts.Users, however, might need to occasionally reform the padded inserts after washing and drying. At times, this washing process can cause them to become a little lumped up. I see no obvious reason why the hideys couldn't be washed with the used padded inserts, but it would still be alot better, in general, for washing and prolonging the hidey's durability if the tunnel also came with it's own removeable, fitted, padded insert. The more the entire hidey has to be washed with it's flooring or padding, the faster it will naturally wear out. I will likely need to find or create my own insert as a remedy to this issue. One of the houses has a fabric loop sewn onto the exterior at the very top. The other house and tunnel does not have a loop, so far that I could find. I'm not sure why only one of these hideys has a loop, but it is a decent quality loop which is sewn on in a secure way. So long as users do not tug at it excessively, etc, then it should last just fine.Overall, this is a good set, with good quality items. There is only a couple minor issues, the tunnel insert and occasionally lumpy washed inserts. So long as users keep them clean, stored when not in use, etc, then they should still last for a good amount of time. The only exception that comes to mind is if damage is caused to them, such as if the small pets using them decided they were chew toys. This can certainly happen, especially with rodents as chewing things up is thier primary directive in life, so do keep a watch out for this, just in case. At least for the first few days. But that's also it's own seperate issue caused by pets potentially misidentifying these hideys. Plus, only so much can be expected of any fabrics, therefore I don't hold this one against this hidey set.Because I think and believe that the tunnel should also have it's own removeable padded insert, just as the other two hideys do, but apparently it doesn't, 4 out of 5 stars.

Three hides for under 25 dollars is a good deal, period. They are very soft, inside and out. I appreciate the bigger hide and smaller one, giving our piggies a choice of size. The tunnel is cute and sturdy. I will say that the houses list a little to the side. I've been trying to reshaping them and sometimes it works well and other times, not. However, I think I will work with them more after the next wash. Overall, great products!
