Maybe it isn’t the best quality, but my baby is completely obsessed with this thing. It plays a wide array of music, there’s a timer that goes for about 30-35 minutes, and the contrast keeps her attention. Just be sure to tie the animals/attachments very tightly, as they easily fall off

Bought this for my baby who has been in the nicu for a few months and we wanted to bring him some fun to his nicu room. He is 2.5 months old and LOVES this mobile it makes him smile and coo and calms him down when he is mad. Best purchase hands down!

This is such an amazing baby mobile. Would buy this over again. It works exactly as expected and was a great purchase for the price. My baby LOVES this thing. It has cute animals and is used every day without the batteries dying. Buy this for yourself, for your friends, for anyone with a baby.

2 days after my 90 days return, it stopped working. we had put new batteries in it when we got it and when we opened it yesterday to check the batteries, the terminals are now all white. We tried to clean them off and put new batteries in it, and it won't work at all.

A bit loud with no option to lower the volume this toy is a good idea that does not easily fit all cribs.

The only dislike was the difficulty connecting the final mobile construction to the hanging music device. Both pieces are plastic circles and there was concern the plastic loop on the mobile would break before it snapped into place on the music module. Otherwise, assembly was fairly simple with the exception of my having to re-tie some of the hanging strings with better knots originally. Our 2 month old grandbaby is fascinated by the colors and shapes along with the music and gentle rotation. We mounted the mobile on the back of a child's chair so it hangs over the bassinette just high enough to be out of the baby's reach.

This is battery operated, ignore the “I had to hand wind it up” posts, they must be an older design. Also, it plays some Christmas music, but only some, mostly its kids nursery rhythms, or older classical music, honestly a pretty good variety. The volume is louder than I’d like, you can not adjust it, but I usually put tape over the speakers anyways, so I just did that. It works great!Look at the attachment mechanism before purchasing, it won’t fit all crib types, it requires slats and a straight design unless you plan on modifying it.The post that her 9 month old can “disassemble” it is probably true, I wouldn’t recommend any mobile for children who can stand and reach, they’ll disassemble them. This one is as sturdy as one would expect from a baby mobile.I purchased this for the black, white, and red colors. It’s been proven to be the most effective color combination for brain activity and stimulation. My one month old loves it!!!

At before to 1 month: Not sure it’s worth $30. You have to wind it up yourself, and the music is loud for a newborn. It also only plays for maybe a minute, and then you have to wind it up again which seems a bit crazy when you are buying a mobile to occupy a baby’s attention (so you can’t walk away far without coming back to do it again). It also is only compatible with a crib, not a bassinet which I got it for. I had to jerryrig it to the side of the bassinet, but the hardware is meant to be attached to the spaces bars of a crib.I also thought it would play different songs but only plays the one kind. Would rate it at 3.5, for ease of assembly.Update 9/4:Baby now 2 months , and can appreciate the mobile now. The wind up lasts just under 4 minutes, and I’m not crazy about how fast the music plays in the beginning vs later in the minutes, but what can you do. It’s still annoying to wind up frequently, but it is cute to watch them follow it with their eyes, even if it’s just for a few minutes at a time. Music is still too loud for sleep/ relaxation, it’s more for cognitive learning I think.
