It works as intended. Maybe not as intuitive in terms of how to switch modes, but read the directions and you’ll be fine. The one gripe I have is that the songs are only about 10 seconds long until it moves on to the next one with no pauses. And it’s about 80% songs. I’m sure this will end up being a joke in our family later on and it’s not a huge deal. Just a little annoying after a while.

Looks very cheap and plastic in contrast with the nice wood on the crib. The mechanism to install it onto the crib is very crude and leaves marks on the wood. Finally replaced it with a real wood arm and it’s so much better.

This has been a good item for my baby when they first used it at the nicu, I knew then that this would be useful and it's soothing. Songs are short/random it's worth it.

Good selection of songs! It plays the entire song/melody once before going on to the next song in the rotation, and you can skip songs and adjust the volume too. It works well and our baby likes it! It auto shuts off after half an hour, and I like that it uses batteries so we don’t have to wind it up

we purchased this as a replacement for our son’s mobile. i love that this wasnt a wind up mobile, it was battery operated and had an on/off button to preserve battery life. we only used this for maybe 4 months as my son grew tall enough to pull on the mobile so we had to pack it away, but we didnt have to replace the batteries once and it was used multiple times every day. the sound was not overwhelming loud but not too quiet that we couldnt hear it over the sound machine, its a great volume for the nursery. it does have buttons to change the modes from spinning/spinning and music/just music, and i believe a skip melody button? it fit with our original mobile set up so no need to buy a whole new set to make this work. i would definitely purchase this again or recommit if your original mobile stopped spinning or making music!

Doing what was needed, my lil girl was obsessed with it as soon as i put it on. Only thing is, there was no mode for rotation without music like it says. And the volume was too loud for the one i pick for the mobile in my bedroom (i purchased 2), so i had to open it and cut the wires for the speaker, the second is the same, but i want to keep the music for this one

I bought this for the glorious 30 min runtime, and it doesn't disappoint. Great sound, and it's nice to have the option to change the setting to music or no music.

If you're thinking of purchasing this item for its "unique" features, think again. On the item I received, which came in a simple zip-lock plastic bag with no documentation at all, there are only three volume settings (not "0 to 100"), there's no zero-volume-rotate-only setting, and there is no music-only setting. The only power-on mode is music plus rotating. There's also no functional difference between the volume-up and volume-down buttons. They both step downwards through the three volume levels, 3, 2, 1, and over again. The device cycles through the songs, and the "M" button skips to the next song, but there's no real reason for that function, as they're just short little lullabies, and all of about the same quality.That said, the sound quality is good (sounds like a wind-up music box), and the selection of short lullabies is nice.You can probably save a bit of money and buy a cheaper but similar item that's described accurately. You can even buy one with the same shell but with a microSD if you want to modify the song list. I haven't yet had the opportunity to see if this one shuts off after 30 minutes, but given the other inaccuracies in the description, I doubt it.A problem here may be that there are a ton of similar items with the same body but different insides, and they're getting mixed together somewhere in the process of distribution. However, this shouldn't be the buyer's problem.
