It does not show solution in radicals making it impossible to do trigo and a lot of functions are weird. Bouta make me fail my class fr.+all the screen was scratched

The hefty discount (> 60%) for buying a renewed item made this seem like a bargain. It's not.This calculator, the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition was introduced in the spring of 2013 and was superseded in 2015 by the far superior TI-84 Plus CE which, at the time of writing, can be purchased brand new on Amazon for $30 less. The TI-84 Wikipedia page has a nice write-up of all the differences.The "date first available" for the renewed version of this calculator is August 2019. I can tell by the yellowing of the plastic that the calculator I was sent is pretty old. It was certainly manufactured long before its first available date.There are scratches on the screen from sliding on the cover/sleeve. That's relatively minor, but telling. I've been using it for about an hour, and it crashed twice. The only way I could resurrect it was to perform factory resets. I can imagine that would be pretty frustrating in an exam.Don't buy this. Buy a new one.Also, the item shipped from New Jersey via USPS. It took 11 days from placing the order to delivery in Colorado. That's pretty slow, and longer than was estimated by Amazon when I placed the order.This experience has left me very wary of "renewed" products on Amazon. So much went wrong with this order. Going forward, I wouldn't buy renewed for anything that's time-sensitive. There are just too many things that can go wrong.

I have other TI products and they worked for some people but, I could never figure out how. All my math problems came out wrong. Then somebody introduced me to the CE Silver Edition and it all became clear. It was easy to learn and all next thing I knew, I was getting much better grades in college. I went from getting almost an "F" to a "B" in one semester.
