We made our own tether ball pole and attached this ball and rope. It is working great and the ball is a nice thick, quality material.

I love the price for this tetherball set, and I hope my kids are going to love playing. It's definitely helping us graduate our backyard playtime from "baby toys" to big kid stuff. We had an old, broken-down basketball goal up in our backyard, so we took the backboard off, stuck an eye hook in the top, and tied the tetherball up there. I wish the tetherball set came up with good knot-tying instructions (we found some online) and maybe some guidelines about how high to hang the ball (we guessed), but it's still a great deal. My husband and I are teaching our kids how to play, and in the meantime, reliving our elementary recess days playing each other, which cracks us up.

This is a go-to for our kids, they love playing with it. As with other reviews though we did find the rope broke very quickly so would recommend having a backup.

No instructions. Came undone 3 times first day. Hard to thread rope through on the ball. Hopefully we will figure out the correct knit to use.

This is a great tetherball, but getting the rope onto the ball is extremely difficult. We had to let some air out and I used the tip of some blunt nose scissors to push it through the teeny tiny little gap under the bar. Trimming off the melted end of the rope helped a lot. Then after I got the rope on and got it tied, I trimmed the end of the rope and melted it again with a lighter. I’m happy with the product, but the design is just not the best.
