Magnet is small and weak. Should have some sort of rubber shock absorbing protection.Fell off a unit I was working on a maximum 12”And now does not read any values just 0.00Pretty disappointed. 7 months old

I tested the Testo 510i, 510 (this one), Fluke 922, Fieldpiece SDMN5, and the UEI EM201B.This Testo 510 is the smallest and simplest of all of them. It is only a differential pressure meter / manometer AND velocity meter (using a pitot tube). In my opinion, it also doesn't look the best and the magnet is too weak.HOWEVER, it is hands down more accurate, precise, and temperature stable than the others. It is temperature compensated, is much less (not at all?) subseptable to changes in orientation, shows exactly the precision (number of decimal places) it is accurate for, AND allows you to change the gas density for velocity measurements. Finally, it's the only one with a built in case to protect the ports.Next in line is the Fluke (twice the cost). It's output varied with temperature and orientation more than this Testo 510 (more than +-0.01 in H2O and dependent on temperature with a stated temperature coefficient). The others (the newer Testo 510i, Fieldpiece, and UEI) didn't come close at all. Not by a long shot, unless you take the measurement within a minute or two of zeroing. They all drifted with temperature. If you need a manometer that is stable, goes down to +-0.01 in H2O, and shows the precision it can acheive, get this.I'm still trying to wrap my head around why all the others are so all over the place. Is it part shortages, cutting calibration costs, or what? Fieldpiece at least says you need to zero it and take the measurements shortly after (a minute or two).EDIT: This Testo 510 does do velocity!

Works well, seems accurate, but very delicate, not made for industrial duty.

I tested this against an actual inclined manometer and it was right on at .53 inches of water column. I need an accurate manometer to set the fire rate on tankless water heaters, this is so much easier than setting up an inclined manometer, and it is extremely accurate.

I only used big Manometer and this size ,I can carry any sites I go.I am not 100% confident with the accuracy but time will tell.

I needed to upgrade from my old dial gauge manometer to a dual-port digital manometer to test gas pressures as well as duct static pressures. The Testo 510 was highly regarded as one of the best manometers available, as I've heard enough good feedback on Testo from such industry leaders as Jim Bergmann and Bryan Orr, and I knew Testo was the way to go.I'm very happy with the Testo 510. It's small and compact, almost toy-like compared to other manometers I've used. But this highly accurate device is no toy. I do wish the magnets were just a big stronger. The device is so small that moving the connected hoses will move the device on the unit being tested, despite the magnets. So far, my only complaint. The Testo 510 comes with two 39" lengths of quality silicone tubing (one 1/4", one 1/8"), and a belt clip pouch just big enough for the device. If you need any tees, threaded fittings, or a case to hold the manometer and all accessories, you will need to purchase that separately. Not an issue for me as I have several unused cases, and I plan to order a set of static pressure probes soon.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I'm in need of a combustion analyzer soon and I'll be looking at Testo again as well.

Works great. Small. Would recommend getting T's if working on gas furnace. Could use a box to hold the device and hoses. But the device is great.
