How to Use
For sugar and other sweets, soak your ceramic Brown Sugar Saver in water for 15 minutes, pat dry, and tuck it in the brown sugar. When kept in a sealed container, this will keep brown sugar soft for up to 3 months. When sugar begins to harden, re-soak, pat dry, and use again.
For salty snacks, use it dry and do not soak.

You guy these things work! I hardly ever leave reviews but I have to on this one. I had a box of brown sugar that was hard as a rock. I was going to throw it away but decided to try this. I swear within 2 days it was like brand new soft out of the box. I’m buying 4 more for other sugars and baked goods. Love them.

Love the look and so fr so good. Just soak in water for about 20 minutes, dry off and put it into your brown sugar.

Great little brown sugar saver. This terra cotta is solid and smooth, not crumbly at all. It's also a nice thickness. Size fits easily into a wide mouth canning jar which is what I was looking for. Would buy this product again, it's a winner.

My brown sugar was ROCK HARD. I feared for my countertops as I was trying to chip off enough to make cookies.Wet this for 15 minutes, stick in an airtight container, let sit for a few days and BAM! Sugar as soft as fresh soil on a late spring afternoon.Easy to use, easy to clean, anyone can use it.

Note that I pay for my purchases with my own money and am not compensated at all for reviews.I don't know why, but I was a little skeptical that this thing would work at all. I did have to buy an airtight container, but I took the rock-hard brown sugar I had gotten from the supermarket, cracked it off bit by bit and stuck it in the container, soaked this thing in water as directed, and sure enough, the sugar fully softened. After a month or two I did have to re-soak it because the sugar felt like it was starting to get hard again, but given I wasn't really expecting it to work at all, I'm not going to complain about having to re-soak it every now and then. It absolutely works.

I was skeptical- but I soaked it per instructions, put it in a plastic container with a rock hard block of brown sugar and in two days my sugar was soft and refreshed. It was smaller than I expected but works like a charm! I was so impressed I bought several as gifts for my daughters! These are quality made in America products!

Totally cute little hummingbird outline on a very smooth disc; that in itself is just nice. The BOMB part comes in with its softening ability for brown sugar. I live in the arid southwest and had a block and I mean concrete block of brown sugar that I couldn’t do much with even with a hammer. I followed the directions and put that little hummingbird in with my brown sugar and three days later, I have rehydrated soft, brown sugar, easily scoopable. It’s amazing you NEED this no lie!!

Works like a charm! Had rock solid sugar, that I had to smash to place I'm a container. Clay puck is actually softening it! After two days, sugar crumbled enough to add another block of sugar.I've been resoaking the clay puck every 2 days given how dry the sugar is.Have read you can get these from Canadian Tire or other place for around $5, but for the convenience of having it delivered, I'm ok with the price

I put the terra cotta brown sugar saver in a small bowl of water; the instructions said 15 minutes, but I left it there for a few hours as I went to do other things. Patted it dry, put it in my container of rock solid brown sugar. After a couple of days I returned to the container and with a fork with mild to medium pressure was able to break the brick up into small pieces, and then the small pieces into the crystals of brown sugar that we'd all like to see. Came back a few days later still, and the brown sugar is still soft, so the piece of terra cotta is working perfectly.

I love this product because it does exactly what it's suppose to. It has kept my brown sugar moist and very useable. I've only had it for a little over a month so I'll update review in a while letting you know if it is still working properly. My only complaint was they didn't send me the right one. I selected the humming bird and got the maple leaf instead. Wasn't worth the hassle to send back for a different one.Update 1/12/18- absolutely wonderful. Keeps all of my brown sugar just as it is when it comes straight out of the bag. Great as a gift for a avid baker!

I bought this on February 19th. I have just checked my brown sugar today and it is still nice and soft and NOT ROCK HARD!! I was concerned that this may NOT work and would not be all it's cracked up to be, but so far I am proved wrong! I hope this lives up to some of the reviews I've heard of this product and hope that it DOES last up to three months without getting rock hard. Well, so far, I am pleased!

Works great! Just the right size and arrived in the specified timeframe. Easy to use. Just have to soak it for 15 minutes and bam! Soft brown sugar!

Not that it makes any difference to the way it works, but I was disappointed that - instead of the hummingbird as pictured - there was a teddy bear on the item I received.
