I first bought a silicone boot that was only 3" long and that wasn't long enough to get adequate clamping to prevent pressure from blowing off the boot. I bought this one and solved the problem.

Just as long as you vent you vent your CCV to the atmosphere you are good. I don’t think these bad boys like oil but I don’t like that mess in my intercooler anyway
