Well, I bought this for the washer and dryer in my basement. I tried getting one of these from the hardware store and the employee never even heard of a three prong adapter! I didn’t know what to do, and then I realized - Amazon! The only way I have a washer and dryer in my house, and not having to go to an awful laundromat, is because of this wonderful company!! Thanks, Amazon!!

These are good to have when you live in an older (1954) house. I stash them all over so that I can find one when needed for the old outlets we have here. It seems they are always disappearing , so I put them in hiding places where I know they will be found when they are needed
