This is a really nice serving board/charcuterie board. I like that it was nicely packaged with plastic covers to protect the corners. I wouldn't use it as a cutting board since it's really loud when cutting with a knife. I also feel like the glass is rough on the knife. It might be a nice board to use when having company over, but I personally wouldn't use it as a cutting board for everyday use.

Yes, I know glass is going to dull my knives quickly and make more noise but it's worth it for me to use a cutting board that will wash off all the germs from chicken/fish unlike the wooden ones I have been using, with their myriad cuts in the wood grain.I have gradually been transitioning from plastic cutting boards to bamboo (toxic glues used to stick the bamboo pieces together) to Corian (get cuts where germs can hide and micro pieces may get into food) to whole slab wood (same cuts) to now glass and stainless steel.Easy to wash too, though it does show water spots if left to air dry so I have to hand dry (it's so clear and pretty though that I don't mind). The hubby is quite skeptical and thinks it's going to break in no time so I've decided this will be my cutting board and he can use the stainless steel one. Win-win!

Edit: after using it with various kinds of food items, I dropped my stars a bit. This is hard to clean. I know it says it can go in the dishwasher, but I worry about the glued on feet coming off. Some things rinse right off, but particularly when I sliced zucchini and another time I trimmed chicken I had a difficult time getting the marks off. If you don't clean it immediately (as in prepared food moved and straight to the sink with soapy scrub) the food particles almost glue and dry to the board very quickly. After the zucchini I gave it a soak and a thorough scrub 4 times before it all finally came off. Maybe this is normal with glass cutting boards. I would think such a smooth surface would be very easy to get spotless.I'm happy to try out a glass board. We've long used plastic ones, and have a few wood, but I worry about the cleanliness of the wood and of course we are all learning the horrors of microplastics. This glass is nice and simple, has 4 little gripper feet to keep it stable and elevated enough to easily lift. I got the 12x16 as that seems to be the size I normally gravitate to and I am overall happy with this item.My only gripe is my own fault, somehow I didn't realize that only one of the items on the page is tinted. I was expecting a marbled look but it really is just a clear pane of glass which is fine, but I have a hangup about fingerprints and it's difficult to touch this board at all without getting prints all over it. I would love if it were lightly frosted on the bottom or something to better mask that.

The packaging it came in was very non-discreet and didn't have any indication of what was inside it. The board itself was wrapped in plastic film and had corner pieces to protect the edges. No care instructions or information were provided about the board. That being said, this is a great alternative to wood or plastic cutting boards. I find that wood or plastic cutting boards can retain the smells or stains of previous items cut on the board, such as onions or turmeric powder. It's easy to wash and dry, the only thing to be mindful of is that it's made of glass, so trying not to knock against things or place it down too hard is a good the to remember. When it came to cutting on the board, it was a bit odd at first to have the knife hitting the class, but after a while, I grew accustomed to it and found the correct pressure I needed to use. I didn't notice a dulling in my knife over time, which was a bigger worry for me. Overall, I like using this cutting board and may consider buying more in the future.

A 14x10 cutting board is not your usual size so I’m very happy to be able to use this tempered glass board. It fits nicely where I need it and provides plenty of cutting space. The transparent glass is a nice change and sure is tough. It’s so easy to clean and dry. I like not having to worry about bacteria being left behind, or even plastic particles being unsuspectingly dragged into your food. A good healthy solution for all your food preparation needs.

Needed a replacement cutting board as my last ones were wooden and got moldy. Happy I don’t have to worry about mold with this one. I also like the heat resistance as I have a huge cast iron sink and usually just put things straight from the oven on to the sink sides. This way I don’t have to worry about the cutting board. Happy with the purchase and it’s a great board.

I'm a big believer in having two separate cutting surfaces- one specifically for meat and the other for veggies and whatnot. As glass isn't porous, it doesn't hold on to bacteria and it's easier and quicker to clean than wood.I ordered the 12x16 size, and it's perfect. Perfect for my counter (doesn't take up too much room while at the same time gives me a dedicated area to cut meat). It's also a good size for storing, as it isn't as thick as a chopping block. This allows me to slide it into areas that my chopping block won't fit.The Yuzeyurun cutting board is made with tempered glass, so it should be more durable than most. Sorry, I am not willing to test this feature on my ceramic tile! LOL I'm going to take the manufacturer's word for it.The bottom of the cutting board has rubber or silicone "feet", to keep it from sliding on your countertop, which is a nice addition. There are four hard plastic corner protectors that come with the cutting board. I'm not sure if their purpose is for protection during shipping, or to use while storing the board. I'm using them for the latter. I only mention this because I think it's a nice feature, whether intentional or not. lolOverall, I feel this is a very nice cutting board and could be used for multiple purposes (you can put hot dishes on it to protect your table, for instance).I highly recommend it.
